I am not directing it to you at all. I have been reading Leaf's blogs and they all seem to be C & P. I am not sure that he is smoking anything but why spam a site with C&P. It is totally counterproductive. Abracadabra

Never in my life, up until the last 8 years, have I seen and heard SO MANY people who really couldn't care less about integrity. I grew up believing that one of the most important virtues of an adult, was honesty. If you didn't have integrity, then people would soon find out and you'd never deserve respect from decent people. Not going to rag on Leaf in particular. I'm talking more about the social phenomena. Leaf is just one among millions of people today, who just don't care about the truth and don't care that they WILL be caught lieing. (They actually lie, KNOWING that the truth must come out eventually!) But they live for the moment, and have no concern for the future. (Except that in the hopes their lies have helped foster in a future like they'd prefer, even if it's also a lie based on a sham.) And we see it in the news media, politicians, and among celebrities! It's as if they decided to destroy all their careers by deliberately proving themselves to be liars! Let's face it, integrity requires courage. And courage is another virtue that seems lost today. And maybe that's what lead to the current state of affairs? If the liars figured out that their base doesn't care if they are liars or not, then I suppose it is to be expected they'd double down on dishonesty. They, and their base don't have the courage necessary to truly be HONEST! They have to lie to themselves! GBU, Gavin

Sort of inclined to think Leaf's main objective is to shock, offend, or otherwise annoy. I suspect a high probability that he doesn't even believes his BS. But either way, the shock and annoyance value is his aim. He doesn't really care to convince people. I think he only MAY have in the past. Years ago he go so absurd that I only read about one every 5 or 6 months, and usually that's due to an accidental click. GBU, Gavin

I did like Skariff's comment. So true. I used to like O'Reilly's show, but for the past year or so, not so much. Yes, I realize he is a commentator, an opinion giver, but some of his regular "guests" are just plain dumb..... like Watter's World, Gutfeld and McGurk, and Dennis Miller. Of course, many like those segments, so that is my personal opinion. I also used to enjoy Shepard Smith, but instead of just the news, he injects an awful lot of opinion into his program.... maybe he should move to evenings? Joe enjoys that newer guy, Tucker Carlson, but I'm just so-so with him. Actually, I prefer their daytime lineup better...... but especially Cavuto and Baer. I don't sit and watch them, but often turn them on while I am working around the house. We also catch some time with CNN and VERY occasionally with MSNBC.... using to just see what others are saying about some events. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

The reason Fox ratings are so high is because so many old people leave it on all day........they can't stand listening to anything that doesn't conform to their belief system........They "watch" TV like Mrs. Joe does....have it on all day as background noise. Apparently Seniors Centres, Old Folks Homes,Hospitals, car dealerships, hotel lobbies, bars, even the White House......Trump insists on having Fox on in the background at all times............Do you know that Fox viewers are so misinformed about what's really going on that they know less than those who watch no news......The Fox Bubble........I see evidence of it on this site constantly.......

I saw what she posted, but that isn't what I do........ I don't need background noise. I turn on Neil or Brett, but I don't usually sit and watch them, I listen to them. I find them "fair, balanced, and unafraid" LOL. But IF places like she said do have Fox on, it is because someone there wants to watch or listen to it. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I do question......There are multiple surveys done asking people what they believe about various topics covered in various news media and where they are getting their news.....in all those surveys, those that get most of their news from Fox were the most misinformed. I'm not going to write a thesis on this site. The information is out there, but loyal Fox imbibers don't want to see it. You rant and rave on here every day making statements that I think are misinformed and untrue.......Don't bother pretending that you back up all your statements with with proof and source....Your ludicrous comment does nothing for your credibility.

I wouldn't get so cocky about studying data and questioning methodology .....It looks ludicrous on someone who doesn't "believe in" Climate Change.....That's one topic that Fox viewers always fall way short on........

If your loyalty to Fox didn't blind you, you would have come across the many surveys showing that those who got most of their news from Fox are the most uninformed people.......I also came across a number of studies that found that music professors in Southern colleges were the biggest Geeks in America and maybe the World.......

No, dear, not the "bogus" study that Fox always cites as if it is the only research done on the subject......there is continuous research.......Real science does does update, revise and corrects itself yet you and your Foxy buddies keep citing one old study.........that was years ago......much research has been done all these years you have been denying .........There are satellites, for instance circling the globe as we speak, that can measure temperatures far underground and ocean acidification and people stationed in the Arctic and Antarctic measuring and scientists all over the globe sharing their measurements and there are many articles in peer-reviewed Scientific journals ....thousands of contributions since Fox and Fox tail waggers like you started talking about one study year ago and repeating that same goonie statement over and over..........You sound incredibly misinformed and underinformed........What year was it when you first used that Fox talking point?........You have used the exact same argument on this site every time Climate Change came up for years now.....If there is no "Fixed Science" is there "Fixed Anti-Science"? because that's what you're saying.
