I see, so what you're saying is that I prevent you from expressing yourself by expressing my own opinions.......You are saying that you see yourself as being a victim ......that your own fear of feeling ridiculed by my stated opinion prevents you from stating your opinion, making you a victim.........The only way out of your dilemma is to own responsibility for your own feelings.......

They do not want "victimhood" that's the last thing they would want. All they are asking is to be treated like the normal human beings they are. So get out your own humanity and accept that not all cats are grey. Read about why they are "different" from you instead of judging them as just being plain wicked. I keep wondering what happened to "We are all God's children" Surely you can find at least, some empathy... I have plenty of it even though I'm a hated atheist...why don't you, as a Christian, have any? Since the beginning of time there have been people with different s*xual needs...that should tell you something. The cause is genetic...it is not a choice they have made.

The opposition against gay marriages is financial. Married gay couples can get health insurance for a spouse, property rights, social security, ad Infinitum. If we want to practice the principle of Church before State, Call them all civil unions and let the church determine what is a marriage. Some churches will allow gay marriages andwon't. won't . I would not be inclined to belong to a church that treats gays like second class humans. Other folks do attend those churches but it becomes problematic when one of their children turns out to be gay. Some of these kids have been thrown out into the street. Abracadabra

The article is crap. It is about trashing liberals. Obviously written by a judgmental self righteous, self centered conservative. Which makes him a fool. The news ( IS ) everyone is responsible for their own life and live it the best they can or how they choose. EXCEPT FOR CHRISTIANS-----They can do no wrong. Being pre forgiven renders them not responsible for their actions. To hell with their victims! Pray On! Better yet just enjoy the party & do your own thing. LOL

Wrong Star ... taxpaying gay citizens demanded equal rights. The key word is equal. Civil Union was a way for some states to continue the oppression. The Obama administration simplified it and it didn't take a hundred years as Civil Rights Legislation did in the 60s. I'm a Christian and my advice to Christians is don't "stand in the way" … the US Government collects taxes .. Churches don't. Abracadabra

Actually, Marriage is a religious concept. There is the separation of Church and State. The Church can call it a marriage while the State can call it a Civil Union regardless of the same/opposite genders of the party. This grants equal rights to taxpaying citizens regardless of sexual orientation while the protection of the First Amendment and Freedom of Religion. If a minister has a problem with gay marriages, he/she doesn't have to perform the ceremony. There will be other ministers that won't have any problem with it. Meanwhile, civil rights of straight and gay citizens are protected. Churches don't do that. They don't come close to doing that … they're not even in the same ball park. Kudos to the Obama administration .. they did something. Got it done .. all Republicans want to do is talk.

Very few of my blogs are opinion pieces.........and when I do post other people's opinion pieces, I'm fully aware that they are controversial ....But hey, avoiding answering my question by throwing it back at me is par for the course.......I don't really expect you to know how to state your own opinions in your own words anymore that I expect Bigblock to........you guys can just keep pretending that you can think for yourselves.
