Its nice to be caught up in a good thing for a change, rather than being expected to lead the way and carry the load...

You have said a mouthful! Christmas is not about all those things you mentioned..... it is about Christ. In a nutshell: the world picked a day to commemorate His birth, and then turned it into a whole season, and capitalized on it financially....... and people fell for it to the point that it became a stress filled time of year for many.
No, I don't need Christmas to remind me of my Savior's birth, nor do I need Easter to remind me that He gave His life for me. But it is nice to see Him celebrated on those days and even though it is in a commercial bloated way, I hope some can still see the reason for the season.
As for the wall, I don't care what material it is, or what they call it, just build it. Stop the invasion into our country. If those people realize it won't be so easy to cross into our country, fewer will even try. Evidently a quarter million folks at least, seem to agree, because they have donated almost 16,000,000 into a go fund me campaign, in just six days for the wall.
Let me say, in true sincerity, Merry Christmas to you and Liszt.

Libertarians are all about me....me.....me.
The world is in great need.
The posts above are a sad reelection of selfishness and certainly not so-called Christianity.

just discovered what went on and why I was banned for my first account. this I just posted on his blog today.
I think its sort of self explanatory and speaks for its self.

Dear Mr. Author

Thank you so very much for the help and advice you gave to me in the chat room the other morning.

Please know that I downloaded as many of your poems as I had time for. They made for wonderful Christmas presents for out parish kids and their parents of our black community here!.

I was able to get some red typing paper and color ink at my Staples store here and finished everything just on time for our Sunday dinner and small party.

You write so wonderfully and paint pictures of vision and wisdom well needed in our struggles of life here in Atlantic City.

Thank you again nice man and have a merry Christmas.

I now will always wonder about life up in New Hampshire. Sorry for you loss.

Blessings to you and yours, Peggy and family

ps. many of the poor (stupid by your opinions0 at least received something for Christmas of which our Black Community embrace and value.

that bob fellow and you scare me... thank god the internet protects us from people like you two.

the Rev has received copies of both of your works and will use it as a tool to educate our children.
I can stand proud, that makes me a better person.

A little late ~ I hope Christmas passed pleasantly for both Lizst and your good self :- ) By choice, my Christmases are low key/informal and like to set aside time for quiet reflection. Thanks for the timely blog - much food for thought :- )
