rather than the Ban Wagon, recycling is a good direction. Unlike many bleeding heart fake gushing emotional liberals, in many ways technology has risen (by force?) to the challenge of 'saving the planet', and making things better! It can even be cheaper (in the long run) when the razzel dazzel politics are removed. Just yesterday on YouTube I was watching an aluminum recycle plant in Germany (I think) that recycles aluminum widow frames. Not only do they melt the old window frames, the alloy-mixes are sorted as well before melting by ex-ray technology. A few minutes ago a guy in a truck went through the neighborhood collecting old junk for recycling. Many more examples exist. Like batteries for instance. Where do they come from where do they go? Important to consider when throwing them out

Hysteria has replaced plain old common sense. Oh, and thanks a lot for your comments about the glasses! I prefer to not drink my water through a straw at the restaurants. Now, I'm going to be thinking about the cooties! Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
