I laughed.... and I understood the humor and the sarcasm ...... I found it a great way to start my day! I also love the little video of a man interviewing a young gal for a job........ her ridicule of his lack of knowledge of snap chat, etc. and how she would just ask "Siri" for research information that he would need her to find. It's a humorous way to look at the generation gaps. But like you, I'm a bit offended by the not so obvious hints that we are too old to understand or learn. I wonder if men were offended when in the beginning, they were portrayed as bumbling idiots? And now look....... they are the "enemy". Hmmmm. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

LOLOL........... I heartily agree with you, Maisie! In fact, I dislike ANY commercial which portrays any group as idiots.  I wonder two things. Who actually came up with a particular commercial, and what company heads actually approved and paid for it? I think many businesses forget that we show our disapproval by not buying their products.~~~

I couldn't agree more. There's so much garbage on television. The prescription drug companies with there 'all you need is dope to look normal' … the producers who trick you into thinking the game is back on so they can hit you with another advertisement... the jerk who turns your volume up and down. I stopped paying for television in the mid eighties. I get around 30 stations via antenna and I'm proud to say I don't give those guys a dime. Vote with your wallet!

From plows to cells phone......the destruction of generations... For us it was the calculator... destroying our mind , because we didn't have to do the work..and one can only learn by doing the work. The hypocrisy of it all... As we sit in judgment...about doing the WORK...When we are simply looking for justifications to NOT do our own.WORK. The hypocrisy of turning back the clock.. to the calculator...... but why stop there? ....Return it back to the invention of the plow... and make America Great..AGAIN. When you worked.. or you didn't eat! ......Seems to me.. I've heard that before There is simply one flaw in our thinking......Although Trump supporters will deny it. Like most things they do...... only Prove it's true instead of not true.. We are all human.....Hopefully, almost all of us think......From the crib to the grave, it's not a choice.. unless you make it one, which many our age seem to do in cutting their lives short. Of course we are born American, because that's where we are born......but we aren't born with English as our language...WE learn it.....Amazing how some people forget that.. Those that think.....Learn. Learning is something you can't NOT do.... learning is something you HAVE to Do.. You don't have a choice...unless you're a Trump supporter and want to make it a choice.. it's simple really.. if someone has a choice to not be gay.. then they have the choice of NOT THINKING..! So the HOW of it.. is human... The WHAT of it....becomes the only issue...

Of course... I think TOO much...and that can be confusing..Especially to some who don't think about thinking..because there is nothing to think about.. I speak of the WHAT and HOW of things.. I wish you could understand..I wish you could understand how they are inextricably connected... The hypocrisy I see in the Right.. of the What and How.... The choices of the importance of the WHAT and the HOW......How they just interchange to become the point of the sword.. With Trump and ideology the WHAT matters not the How..If you can't see it.. You can't think. With guns....It's an amazing transformation.... The Truth is the gun.. is the WHAT that kills people .. And people are the HOW, that kills people. No matter how they try ...they are inextricably connected. Yet it's seems so hypocritical to make the HOW the point of it.. when the HOW about Trump doesn't matter.. I'm not a gun control advocate...I'm not giving YOU answers... I'm a thinking and reasoning advocate..who's just giving you questions.

And yet you call choosing to not own a TV, "virtue signalling"......Do you think that subjecting yourself to the idiocy of repetitive TV commercials is a necessary evil, or that you don't have a choice?.......I really cannot imagine what goes on in the mind of someone who willingly watches stuff they don't want to watch....that makes them feel the way you have expressed here..

For some people.... It's always about politics..they don't write anything else.. This blog.. Maisie can't do anything else.. EVER.. is as subversive political as it gets.. Maisie keeps subverting with differences.. I'm just pointing out the similarities. So I hopefully allow you to make a choice of what you believe.. There's is NO right or wrong to it.. I don't like doing it in the terms of labels or absolutes. but just get to the base idea of things. If you HAVE to make a choice .. think about it.. People are all the same? People are all different?. Which one are you going to hang your hat on.... By the way.. I suggest you do pick one..... you may just find it can "cover up" being bald.. and then you can quit "shining the dome" LOL

It's how I think in "black and white" I don't need the color of it Day is the same as night When I look behind your eyes It's color... I no longer see When I go beyond the colors You are the same as ME But... I have to wonder What you see.. what you do Can you look beyond Your eyes And think.. I'm the same as YOU.?

I have a channel changer for my TV and it has an On and Off button. If I don't care to watch crap I use it!

I keep saying it .. but you people never hear it... I DON'T TALK POLITICS........It's only my frame of reference... because that's all YOU talk about. ......Conservative or Liberal... means NOTHING to me I TALK ABOUT PEOPLE. I talk about maisie or Trump, not politically... but as a frame of reference about PEOPLE. Trump is the best to see..There can be none better to show us our own folly... maybe just maybe.. That Trump ...by pointing out the worst of US...we can more easily recognize.. what is the best of US. I don't believe in the impossibility of possibilities.... Others have come before to try and bring Us together....that NEVER seems to work, but divides us even more...But as Trump drive a wedge between US...that polarization has better chance of being flipped..and bringing us together.. Like none before him. You SEE.. it's the way it WORKS... tell people they are ALL the same .. and they find ways to point out the differences. Tell people they are all different. and people will find a way to discover the similarities.. It's not going to happen today.....but I think it will happen "tomorrow"....How MUCH difference are people willing to accept.. different States,, rural or city, different religions, different races, different genders, different goals and aspiration, different class.. of the "poor' and the "wealthy"....different political ideologies, different bodies, different color of hair and eyes, different occupations, different Newscasts. different ages young and old. Different NEEDS.. and the difference between WINNER'S and LOSERS. those that believe those differences are the only things that matters.. What are THEY going to DO? and what are YOU going to do about it?.... Because somewhere along that line YOU will be different. When "people are all the same" and we all have more in common than NOT.. When the differences are nothing, but our commonality... How much difference are we going to accept?
