Yeah, cause American tax dollars should be spent on important stuff like the USSF.........SPACE FORCE........so they can build training camps for all those Space Cadets......

Trump says the it's to ensure that the US will DOMINATE in space.....he seems to think that future wars will be fought in space.......maybe he's been watching too much Star Wars ........Trump said that the only countries that can presently be called US space rivals are Russia and China. Chinese officials have said that they are committed to space being without conflict......belonging equally to all Earth's inhabitants......There is also a UN charter preventing military conflict in space.....ratified by the US in 67, I think.......I would have to look it up........... With all the problems in the US and on Earth needing attention, Trump's focus on a need to "dominate" in space seems ludicrous.......Most US military officials are against it, many citing the fact that the US armed forces already have a space command, which is part of the air-force and creating a separate Space Force would create confusion and chaos in the present perfectly adequate system, requiring document-heavy decommissions, re-commissions, new military bases and heaps of unnecessary expense and redundancy... Basically, everyone, with a few exceptions, are laughing behind Trump's back......I did watch Pence's body-language and facial expressions during Trump's announcement.......and, per usual, he didn't have any....an empty shell.

No, I don't need to go looking for stuff to trash Trump over.....He's doing that without help from anyone........He keeps repeating that the world respects the US again.......I wonder what his definition of respect is?.....One can only imagine as we watch the world respond to the crisis on the southern border.......Kidnapping children does not now and never has garnered respect......except by Americans without foreheads.

Liszt, many, many years ago, I had a copy of one of the teachers magazines that had an interesting article about the role of teachers ...... the part that really stood out to me was the statement that teachers were no longer just to teach the basics of education, but to be the shapers of society. Tie that to the copy of the Humanist Manifesto that I had and notice that most of the signers were people high up in the academic realm. We still have some great teachers, but those few cannot stem the decline of our education system. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
