The unspoken few words that were never revealed.

The song that I still love to listen to alone whenever such an opportunity presents itself.

The song posted below tells us about a time when one can reveal lifetime innermost thoughts and emotions to someone dear, meeting face to face in seclusion and solitude so that none other can hear the words.
The original song was written in Bengali by the first Asian Nobel laureate poet Rabindra Nath Tagore. Those who want to listen to the original Bengali version of the song may Google " Emono Dine Tare Bola Jay."

On such a day, can I tell someone
In such a dark and dense downpour.
On such a day, can I bare my soul
Amidst the rumbling roar of clouds,
This unceasing drizzle of rain,
This sun bereft deep duskiness

None other there be to hear those words
In seclusion and solitude
Face to face, the two of us
Heavy of heart in deep sorrow
Incessant tears streaking the skies
None other there be as if it were.

Worldly matters, pretense they are
Deception is the daily din
Gazing into each other eyes
Sipping sweet nectar from therein
One heart reaching out to another
All else fades into the dark

The offence is to anyone,
Unburden my heart, if I can
In this deluge, once if I can,
Sit down in a quiet little nook
Few words I say to the one
Does it matter to anyone?

The wind speeds in desperation,
Lightning flashes from time to time
Those words that have, in this lifetime
Remained within, in my mind
Those are the words that I may tell
Today, in this dark and dense downpour.

Emono Dine Tare Bola Jay. Translated by Rumela Sengupta

Some time I can share those words with my inner self, and with God, that can't be shareed with another person.

troll,
Thank you for stopping by and for your post. Although the song is not a religious one, its words can still resonate with our inner selves and with God. Please take care of yourself. I hope to hear from you again in the future.

Rocket, the song was categorized by the poet himself as a love song. A person in love may look for a particular time to share it with the beloved, facing each other while nature plays its part outside. You may please listen to the song on the net.
Be safe. Stay cheerful.

Shartaun,
Kamalini Mukherjee is a young singer. This is a Tagore song. Not everyone can sing Tagore songs perfectly. Your comment on Kamalini Mukherjee is correct. You can listen to the same song sung by Jayati Chakraborty. Go to the net and click"Amono Dine Taree-Jayati Chakraborty''. Some Consider this song as a song of Rainy Season. However, I consider the song as a Love Song. I hope that you are keeping well. Stay cheerful always.

Rightly said, Maudie. The song is a thought-provoking one. It speaks of a mystery that can only be shared with a significant other on a rainy day. Thanks for thinking about my welfare. Stay healthy, dear Maudie. Be safe.

SOMETIMES IT IS BEST FOR CERTAIN WORDS AND THOUGHTS TO REMAIN FOREVER UNSPOKEN. NO MATTER HOW DEEPLY WE FEEL AND WANT TO SAY OR EXPRESS THEM.

Dear Archer, I have no reason to disagree with what you have mentioned above. I resisted speaking something to someone whom I met long ago, although I wanted to bare my soul whenever I met the person alone. I know these unspoken words will remain unspoken till infinity! Keep safe, Stay happy always.
