I have opened the door.

The song is posted for someone living across the ocean alone. This Tagore song was translated by me from Bengali to English when I started communicating with this person. It may not be as good as other English translations of the song.

I know, I know,
You have come to this path by mistake
Be it, so be it
I have opened the door.

You came here without any adornment,
The resounding anklet bells do not ring on your feet
Then so be it,
Do come the easy way.

There, in my yard, falling Maloti flowers,
Pick some to adorn your loose tresses.
I know, I know,
You have come to this path by mistake.

No arrangement, none at all,
This Bina's strings are not tuned
Then so be it
Come on to the silent bank of my heart.

The cascading rain falling in the forest
Vibrating like my mind's melody
And swaying to the rhythm of the high wind.

I know, I know,
You have come to this path by mistake
Be it, so be it
I have opened the door.

The song was written in Bengali by the noble prize-winning poet Rabindranath Tagore.

Yes, Rocketship, you are right. “Dreams result from a process that often combines fragments of multiple life experiences and anticipates future events.” I shall share the song with you. I am sure you will like it even if the language is Bengali. Take Care of yourself.

This is a love song, dear Archer, written in Bengali by Rabindranath Tagore long before I was born. I don't know what prompted the poet to write this lovely love song. I wish I knew the reason. I get lost when I listen to this song alone and in a reflective mood. I hope you are well now. Stay safe, dearest friend.

It somewhat reminds me of the song "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran.
Seems like the little things in life people fall in love

I see no reason to disagree that people may fall in love with little things in life. I do not recollect if I had listened to the song " Thinking out loud" by Ed Sheeran. I intend to look for it on the internet and listen. Be safe, Star, and take care of yourself.
