The tiniest, primitive, invisible life form! Covid People started joking about the eating habits of humans living in a particular region of our planet soon after the outbreak of coronavirus disease, COVID-, in Wuhan, the sprawling capital of Central China’s Hubei province in December, last year. Here below is one such joke which sums up everything: “Somebody ate something in China and the entire world is washing their hands” Unfortunately, the outbreak is no longer a subject of the joke. It has since been declared a pandemic which has closed the entire planet Earth. We now know what does the word “lockdown” really means. Most of us belonging to the - groups are exercising self-quarantine. Some humans capable of hoarding essentials have emptied the shelf of super shops throughout the world and stockpiled the same in the storerooms of their homes fearing that the "lockdown" would not end soon though the American President expects that the situation would be over next Easter Sunday. Maybe, he can foretell the future. But not others like us. We may now go back to the joke mentioned above. People of the world are no longer joking about Covid for obvious reason! It has since been rewritten an anonymous as appended: “The ultimate irony of life… The tiniest, primitive, invisible life form is now controlling the behavior of the most arrogant, powerful, and evolved lifeform on earth! What a lesson for humans to be humble!” Take care everyone. Be safe, my friends. |

“The ultimate irony of life… The tiniest, primitive, invisible life form is now controlling the behavior of the most arrogant, powerful and evolved lifeform on earth! What a lesson for humans to be humble!” The following passages further reinforce the message - 'The coronavirus in its all-pervasive pandemonium is a wake-up call, not just to our well-being and souls but also how we had better conduct ourselves towards the other species of this Earth, they who enable life as we know it. The coronavirus is a karmic test that we need to pass, so that we as a species can transcend our conduct on this planet we have maligned and mistreated for far too long. One immensely vital and fragile bioregion that promises potentially lethal pathogens is the Arctic. The great thaw at the top of the world, with ice melting at an extraordinary rate, with polar bears, whales and many other beings having to survive the immune breakdown of the region, is the main reason Shell and other mining and fossil fuel industries should stay clear from the region. Five years ago French scientists discovered a "giant virus" in a 30,000- year-old sample of permafrost in Siberia that had retained its infectivity. If we industrialize these areas and ride roughshod over the roof of the world we risk waking up pathogens we thought we had eradicated or help foster the spread of things even worse than smallpox, said researcher Jean Michel Claverie'. Taking care of myself and confined at home with my children and grandchildren, and being obedients to follow sanitary instructions, I just trust in God, who is more powerful than that invisible enemy... Take care, Look-look.

We are all in the same boat. I am keeping close to home and go out for groceries only. I go early in the morning at 7 AM as that time is reserved for seniors. I keep my distance and make sure I wash my hands thoroughly when I get home. You keep well LookLook.

Tanz, you are absolutely right. The dire reality is now knocking at our closed door. Let us keep the doors closed until the pandemic dies its natural death. Until that happens, please take care and be safe. Hugs Tanz, my friend.

Sometimes, researchers make pathogens even deadlier in the course of their research…. ......Research into dangerous viruses and bacteria is important, but for the deadliest pathogens, it’s not clear the benefits are worth the risks……”(By Kelsey Piper} I wonder if covid-19 is such an escaped research material made deadlier by the concerned researcher! Hope it is not so. Take care lilium. Stay safe and sound at home.
