Some of the world's most persecuted rebuilding their lives in Chicago Pictures showing Rohingya refugees rebuilding their lives in Chicago. Rohingyas are an ethnic, mostly Muslim minority (some Hindus too) who have faced decades of discriminatory policies and violence in Myanmar that aggravated during the Burmese Military Junta rules followed by Aung Sang Suu Kyi, the false preacher of freedom and Security. The Rohingya people live mainly in the northern region of Rakhine State, Myanmar, for centuries and have been described as one of the world’s most persecuted minorities. The US House of Representatives passed a resolution labeling the Rohingya crisis as "genocide" in December,2918. Those readers who are interested to learn more about these Ethnic Minorities may please go through my blogs titled “Two eyes of a Burmese Military's gang R*pe victim” posted on 10/21/2017 and “Man’s inhumanity to man, makes countless thousands mourn” posted on 9/26/2017 respectively. They can also Google “ Kutupalong in Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh" that happens to be the world’s largest refugee camp for more details about the Rohingay refugees! Picture Details: 1. Rohingya mothers play with their during a 'Mommy and Me' class at the Rohingya Cultural Center of Chicago 2. Rohingya mothers leave a 'Mommy and Me' class at the cultural center founded in 2016 by Nasir Zakaria, a Rohingya refugee who settled in the US in 2013. 3. Wonderful blog LookLook ... and I think "countless thousands" of Americans would agree with the sentiment and compassion shown here. Thank you...it's good to know, amidst all of the racism being shown these days, that not all are bereft of compassion and empathy.

WHAT A SHAME THOSE PEOPLE HAD TO SETTLE IN A MOSTLY NON-MUSLIM COUNTRY AND IN SUCH AN AWFUL CLIMATE. WE CAN ONLY HOPE THEY WILL BE CONFRONTED WITH LESS DISCRIMINATION IN CHICAGO THAN IN MYANMAR. THANKS FOR THE INTERESTING PHOTOS, LOOK

Thanks for your interesting blog, Looklook. It is unfortunate that, in today's world, there are still groups like this one, suffering so much. Good thing they have found refuge in the USA.

Maisie, I live in a predominantly Muslim country where women are legally treated equally with men in all respects. They are provided with equal opportunities and freedoms just like what you are provided with in your country! May I request you to visit this country one day to find out the truth? Thank you so much for stopping by and for your post!
