Riding the Mighty Waves

To The Mermaid

Riding the mighty waves often
You have many times touched the blue horizon
And walked along the shores of Indian Ocean
Miles and miles looking for the one
You have lost while busy swimming with the Dolphins!

He, who you lost,
Always wanted to go to the ocean
For gliding on blues with you,
To catch a glimpse of the flying Gulls
Is no where to be found now.

Remember, If there is no love,
living alone in total loneliness,
where could he find company?
Tell me please
where could he?

To someone who believed in the Splendor of The Ocean.!

Nice and very expressive text, Looklook. I am stunned by it, I hope and wish he accomplishes his aim. Your Mermaid will surely understand it. Yes, loneliness is a great issue when one feels it. It can drag one to commit the unexpected at times. Maybe just for companionship, someone to talk to, to hear and listen, to share/break that loneliness and to feel someone. Your Mermaid may have walked along the beaches and done whatever but your mermaid might have strolled the memory lane which cannot be faded at all. If your mermaid has lost her one, the saying is quoted as:
" If he goes, let him go, if he comes back to you , he really loves you, if he doesn't, then he never did". Therefore, he should consult his feelings for his mermaid and to decide what he feels and wants to do. He will find peace in his action or else he would never. It's only my opinion however. Thanks for this meaningful blog. I wish you all my very best. Lisa.

For me, any day by the ocean is a great day!

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

The ocean I live by you never see wave like that. But then there is always other scenarios on the ocean that are ever changing. On the weekends it is like a small city in the harbor when all the freighters are lined up. I am fortunate that I can enjoy the beauty of the water and all the activities out there.
These are beautiful pictures LookLook. They remind me of my times spent in Hawaii.

Thanks Lisa for the elaborate comments that you have left here on the blog of mine! It appears to me that the poem has made you thoughtful as well as expressive too. Maybe, it has helped to reveal the inner thoughts that remained hidden in the deep chamber of your heart until you read my poem that I have posted inspired by a song that made me feel sad and confused! I hope and also trust that the mermaid of the poem would one day find her lost one if she really tries! Take care always and mark your steps carefully! Be safe on the road of your life. Best wishes to you and Emily, Lisa.

Archer,,, I have no ready answers to your questions though I am sure that intelligent readers like you have found out the answers by this time. I may however tell you that 'He' had never gone to the sea and never did glide on blues like 'His' lady friend even though 'He" knew how to swim! It may be possible they lived ocean apart and 'He' waited day after day talking on line with her when she went on swimming with the Dolphins!
Archer, may I take this opportunity to suggest you to listen the song beginning with the words, "Ocean apart day after day and I slowly go insane...”? You may Google the sentence if the song is not readily available with you. I would also like to add here that I was not inspired by this particular song to write the poem!
Take care, Archer and stay cheerful always.

The mermaid will always have a place in her heart for the person, thing that is lost or gone. We never really let those things or person go, because they are always with us in our hearts.. We take with us their memories and carry them within ourselves..

Butterfly, thank you so much for stopping by and for leaving your definitive view on the matter which is always touchy to the lovers whomsoever them maybe! I presume that the mermaid is no different.
