When women love, they forgive everything, even our crimes; when they do not love, they cannot forgive anything, not even our virtues.------Honoré de Balzac I think that is a silly statement. It's so general and why would anyone even think about not forgiving a virtue? The whole thing does not make sense. It's someone trying to sound intelligent and is really a fool. The other statement about a woman being like a child. How many women are like this? How many do you personally know? ..... how stupid is this also? A woman raises a child (and so does a man) this takes maturity - and wants to posess everything? Perhaps a few might, but I dont believe the majority would. Again it's so general that this quote makes him a complete idiot who wants to sound like he knows something. Just my thoughts ..... . Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.

Lake walker, It will be better for me to maintain complete silence on your comments left here on this blog except reminding myself that Balzac was a great French novelist and playwright. Lisztomania. I am very much happy to read from you here on my blog. You lamented for Balzac's inability to live in the year 2015. And as such you consider him less enlightened than us! Is it really so? Do you not think that people like him was born far ahead of his time? Who knows what the people will think of us in the year 2115? May I therefore request you to ponder on this point too? Anyway, you are entitled to your own idea as Balzac was entitled to his idea! Meantime, thanks again for your kind visit here.
