Most Beautiful Cities of the World

Which is the most beautiful city in the world? Opinion may differ in this respect for various reasons. But ultimately most of the travelers may agree that no city can beat VENICE if we compare it with other beautiful cities of the world.

Next one is PARIS! Yes, it is indeed the most elegant and sophisticated of all cities. It has inspired practically every major world capital.

No other city can beat PRAGUE if we take into consideration the thousand spires of this city because of its profusion of grand, beautifully-preserved historical monuments dating from practically every period in history.

LISBON is one of the world's most scenic cities. No one should skip this colorful city while traveling through Europe.

“There are those who say God created the world in six days and devoted a seventh to Rio.” The fifth most beautiful city in the world is RIO DE JANEIRO!

Next comes serially AMSTERDAM, FLORENCE, ROME, BUDAPEST and BRUGES!!

Many of my readers may ask me where Bruges is located. ‘It's a small city, in a small country, hardly a metropolis, but huge on beauty! Bruges, the capital of West Flanders in northwest Belgium, is distinguished by its canals, cobbled streets and medieval buildings. It’s one of the world's best preserved medieval cities.

Readers and viewers are invited to view pictures of these cities one by one as appended serially.

Happy reading and viewing too:

Every city has it unique features that make it beautiful. I don't think I could choose just one. Like Boogie inoften find incredible beauty in ordinary things. One of my most memorable is a twilight in a Walmart parking lot. I took a photo which became a painting, which became a skin for my tablet.

Beautiful indeed, all in their own way. My husband and I were blessed to have visited most of them. Bruges and Rio we have yet to visit. I was in Paris three times and Prague twice, so I count myself very lucky indeed. Thanks for sharing the lovely pictures with us

Boogie, you are absolutely correct. Yet, we humans always tend to compare the beauty of the places that we have visited with one another to choose which of the places looked most beautiful in our eyes! Thanks for leaving such thoughtful comments as usual on my blog.
Take care while you are on road. Wishing you all the best.

True, every city has its unique features that make it beautiful. However while comparing one city with another we usually take in to consideration which of the two offers a combination of magnificent architecture and breathtaking vistas; art and nature in perfect harmony.
Thank you so much spiritwoman for stopping by my blog and for leaving such thoughtful comments.
Have pleasant times always. Best wishes.

You two seem to be the most luckiest who could visit all the beautiful cities of Europe except the smallest one! Though I traveled extensively the European cities during Nineteen Seventies, I could not claim that I have done so! Thanks again for stopping by, Maudie. Stay happy and cheerful always.

Cities may be beautiful, but I always want to be out of them ASAP and either on the ocean, in the countryside or bush. I like peace and a slow pace.

Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.

Hi Looklook mbn, thank you so much for this interesting blog. For my personally, I like so much Geneva, Switzerland. I love the Lake Geneva which is called Lac Leman, with the touring ship on the lake, which goes around and stops at several french villages bordering this lake, where during the stop over, we can go in these villages and admire their style of life, can also have a drink at the cafes and buy any souvenirs too. It's really wonderful. Then we board the ship back to the next village and so on. Lac Leman is so beautiful with its wonderful Water fountain in the middle of that lake and It’s one of the city’s most famous landmarks and one of the largest fountains in the world. It throws 500 liters of water per second in the air to an altitude of 140 meters. And then the city view from the lake is really stunning. It's not only the buildings of the city but also the views of the mountains and the Alps, really really wonderful. I hope one day you'll be able to visit it. Thanks again for this blog and have a very pleasant day mbn.
Wram regards.
Lisa.

Lisa,MLLD,
What a great way to enrich my blog by providing information about a city which I did not visit while staying in Europe during the year 1976. However, I feel that your vivid description of the beauty of the city and the great lake have compensated my failure to visit Geneva and the Great lake which you personally like so much. Lisa, I hope that you will agree with me if I say that it is not possible for us to visit each and every beautiful city or countryside and its nearby waterways in one life time! May be, one day, as stated by you, it will be possible for me to visit the city and the lake accompanied by some one I like most. Meantime, thanking you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving such a detailed description of Geneva and its great lake for me to read and enjoy!
May the coming days be happy and wonderful for you and your family.
Warmest personal regards.
look.

Boogie,
Whenever and whatever I read from you here or elsewhere, I can learn something which is new to me or something forgotten!
Boogie, every moment of our life is important to us and we can feel the presence of our creator around us by viewing the beauty and significance of his creations! It may be the Heron fishing in the pond, or the reflection of the trees on its still water or viewing the breathtaking orange sunset!! It may also be viewing the double rainbows and the majestic mountains of New Mexico! Thank you so much, Boogie, for opening the closed shutters of our inner eyes!
Enjoy the beauties of God's creations wherever you may be now!
