The Rainy Days

The rainy days are going to end soon here in this part of our world. The season came to cool down the scorching heat of summer! Monsoon causes the rain to fall in our country like the neighboring countries India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.

During this period, our sky remains overcast almost everyday and night. The sun can not be seen during these days. It prefers to remain hidden behind the rain clouds almost daily. It rains in torrents. Sometimes days together. Some times it drizzles too.

I have taken this opportunity to post pictures of rainy days for the readers to view here on my blog page. Hope they will like the photos!!

Happy Viewing:

Reminds me of the 6 weeks of straight rain we had here this past Spring, but without the horrible flooding we had.

As always, such beautiful pictures, even without the sunshine.

I guess folks get used to the rain, but I think that I'd find it depressing.

Great photos!!

Seeing so much wet reminds of the tropical far north in our state. I did quite enjoy getting wet in the humid climate as it was a pleasant sensation. Not sure how I would fare if had to go about my daily business in same although I would probably accept like millions of others - pointless grumbling too much :- ) Great shots Look - how is the monsoon season for you; any particular drawbacks?

Hello Lilium.

Pleased to see you back to read and view my blog once again. Lilium. It is always good to see readers who like to read and view the pictures uploaded on my blogs not for something special to obtain in return from me but for inspiring me to be more creative in future! Fortunately, all my readers are like you for which I am really grateful to you and them too. I am also glad to know that you have liked the pictures uploaded hereon by me! You have asked how monsoon season is for me! Lilium, we would not have survived if the season was not there to Provide everything we need! Its advantages out weigh its disadvantages! For me, it has now an especial meaning ! My beloved living Doll, who has very recently got lost on the foggy world of so-called poetry, could not see my tears when I walk in the torrential rain! Have a nice and colorful week. Best wishes too!

TxJW,
Glad to read from you here, it has made me very happy to welcome you. I can not readily make a reply to your query. I shall have to check it up for you! As far as I know, we build all sorts of boats including ocean going vessels which we export to Europe and elsewhere. Thanks again. Have pleasant times always.

Boogie, much glad to see you back here again.Though I had the opportunity to visit Tokyo in 1984 on my way back from USA, I could not visit other cities of Japan in spite of my best intention as my employers, being a well known international Bank, needed my presence at its Headquarter in Dhaka. I believe that your stay in Okinawa was a memorable one and you must have enjoyed the time. By the by, were you at the base as an employee of the military administration or you were there with your Goodman!
Wish you all the best and regards too.

Boogie,Thank you so much for telling me why you were in Okinawa. I can imagine you now in an Air Force Uniform of the most powerful nation of the world! It makes me happy also to read that you liked the island as well as the people. What a adorable way to keep memories of past wonderful times in tact! May i request you to take the trip with your Grandson? I am sure both of you will like the trip!
