Images Of Religious Festivities-Christians And Muslims

Festivals always play a significant role in our lives These are the parts and parcels of our ( Bangladeshi ) culture and tradition . It is said that We have13 festivals in 12 months. But actually the number of festivals are much more than that. ! have posted some images of Buddhists and Hindu Religious Festivals earlier. The images of important Christian and Muslim Festivals are posted below for your viewing . Hope, the pictures will be liked by the viewers. Needless to mention here that this is an Informative blog like many others posted by me in the past. I have also taken the opportunity here to post two pictures of river transporters and trains showing travelers bound for home from the capital city Dhaka during Eid holidays. The 10th picture shows a band plays on the street of Dhaka on an Eid day !!

You will be surprised to learn that the three great faiths, Judaism, Christianity and Islam--- all had their origin to one Prophet--- Abraham!! Have a great weekend, Mary Ann.

Thanks for your excellent and well thought views. Our country is not a big one spiritwoman ! We have two very big countries as our next door neighbors. We have also neighbors smaller than us!!
