Day 17 Continued.

Day 17 Continued

It was almost hours past midnight He could visualize that it is too late for Tisha either to come online or call him on ph. Being absent minded,he turned on the music system. It started ing his favorite song:

I planted illusive dreams
Wielding castles in the air,
Harvesting dashed hopes

My world, a relic,
My hopes, unnavigated,
The deity of my dreams
A fantastic, float-some image

Nothing actualized
From my deluge of desire,
Couldn't cast a soul
With my far aspirations.

In my solitude
I have been ing with flames,
Left with cinders, in the end
.

(I planted illusive dreams by Rabindranath Tagore. Translated in English by Anandamayee Majumdar)

As soon as the recorded song stopped ing, he turned off the music system. He did not feel any more to listen to the songs .His worries for Tisha came back in his mind. It occurred to him that he must be in love with Tisha!!
He tried to recollect what had happened on the night they met in the chat room of the social site on internet. He was new there. The first night was a complete disaster for him. On the second night, he was taken aback reading some of the conversations that were taking place in the room. He was surprised to read that some was making an indecent proposal to a 6 old female member in the open room! The lady’s response to the posting disturbed him more. He became simply disgusted to read the exchanges between elderly persons in an open room. He also could not understand why the other members chatting in the room, were showing indifference to such posting of obnoxious things by fellow members of the site!! They were simply ignoring the conversations of these which had been going on for a considerable time! Feeling disgusted and confused, he decided to come out of the site, never to return again.. Then it happened. Tisha came in the room and greeted him on her arrival.

"Hello and welcome! Are you new on here?"

Tisha’s question startled him. He decided to make responses to Tisha’s questions.Last night, no greeted him. Perhaps, no had noticed his presence there! He did not know how he could best make them aware that he is there too!! But Tisha's question changed everything suddenly. What a surprise!

“I must not go out without replying to her greetings”, he said to himself.
“Yes, I am new on here .Thanks for welcoming me, Tisha”, he could barely type the reply.
“Every has a new beginning on here! Is it not folks?” Tisha asked the roomies.

He could read the affirmative replies from others who were also conversing there. It appeared to him Tisha is liked by every.

“Where are you from? I mean, where do you live now?” Tisha posted.
“I mostly live in Dhaka, my home city.” He posted in response.
“I see. I have a friend who lives in Dhaka now. May I tell him to meet you?”
"Yes, you could do so, Tisha. She will be always welcome in my house.”
“Thanks, but how could she contact you?”
"She can either ph me or talk to me on YM.”
“Yes, she could.”
“Okay, May I give you my e mail address?”
“Please do not. If you do that, the site will ban you.”
“Then, what could be d?’
“Let us have a private chat then.”
“Private Chat?”
Tisha understood and told him how to do it. While chatting, they shared their e mail addresses and also got themselves formally acquainted.

The night was running out very fast. Soon the first light of the day would chase away the dark night! He went to bed and closed his eyes.

The cell ph kept on the bed side table became alive and started ringing!!

(To be continued)

Looklook,
Here am back again to congratulate you for your interesting and emotional story. As all stories have a happy and a sad time, so the best of it should remain in the memory, should be kept preciously and I quote, "The flowing water can't be touched twice".
I wish the continuation of your story keeps the readers wondering what would be the next, the afterwards and the ending.
Best regards.
Lisa.
