He's Quite a Man! Hard to believe I told the Doctor to put him in a home. The Doctor-- told me "No, he has no place to go, except home with you." I said "I couldn't be his mother." No problem-- he was Down Syndrome. It was because his prognosis-- he wouldn't live to be a year. Maybe two. Silly Doctors-- they don't know everything. Silly ME-- I under estimated my abilities. I am the best mother he could have ever have. He's thirty-six. . . Healthy and I'm happy. . . and He is Quite A MAN! My -- Joey-- If love is blind then maybe a blind person that loves has a greater understanding of it Criss Jami |
