Oops... Recently one member on this site addressed me in a less than flattering way. I guess that he/she wasn't aware of at least one software application available to some of us. You see I have a friend that has spent twenty four years in the US military (four years Navy and twenty years Army). After retiring from his military service he spent the next twenty two years in continuing service to our country as an employee of a contractor providing service to the US. In the course of his service to our country he came to possess a software program that allows tracing an internet communication all the way back to the computer on which that communication originated. This program provides the physical address of the person, the name under which they registered with their ISP and it even provides the address where the computer used resides if different from the physical address of the person. If needed it can create some real problems on the computer used. Returning to my recent experience with this person that posted a comment, I advised this person that I had his/her physical address (the place where the computer they used exists), I had their ISP registration and the name under which they registered, and I had the full routing all the way back to their computer. Thus far I have not heard another word from this member. Perhaps this person is intelligent enough to reconsider the words and statements that they made and have historically made over a period of time. The point of this post is to say "be careful out there". |

Police have been using such a program for years. Mind you, that won't change that person's opinion. How much you wanna bet?

Hi Lovr: Just my opinion, but there seems to be certain individuals  in this group who only reply to certain people's blogs to insult, correct, and demean the blogger and other people who replied. Have you considered blocking? I got blocked from a blog yesterday just for politely sticking up for you. I wonder if there's any software to make people disappear? lol
