Hi Bobbi: If people really believed in God as they claim to, they better smarten up and start practising what they preach. Every time I hear the words "Tea Party" it makes me think their shifty leaders will eventually stir their not so bright followers into an armed revolution. Very scary. Someone should come up with a viable third political party and end all this obstruction in Congress.

Speaking as a conservative, and especially as a Christian, I have to agree with this pic's message. (Altho I'm not sure that the woman depicted was necessarily claiming any divine guidance. That may simply be an unfounded allegation about her or others in the Tea Party. I've never heard anyone from the Tea Party claim that the movement has a religious component, but perhaps some of them do?)

So I'm not taking sides on any political issues with this comment, except to say too many people think they speak for God.

You can find them on both sides of the political spectrum, and you can find them causing similar problems among various churches and religions. They cause problems anywhere they try to IMPOSE their versions or interpretations of what God wants to say, rather than just offering up their words as their personal opinions, which they actually are.

JMHO, and GBU,

Gavin
