So, is this akin to saying "That person may live in poverty, so they'd be happier not to live at all?" Or are you saying living in poorer conditions than some other segments of society is not really a life at all?

Another blogger discussed the question of when life begins. I differed with that blogger on the exact timing, however I had to acknowledge that it's a choice everyone has to make before they take a stand on abortion. So I'm curious: If the child is born, and in a life situation that offers few options to get out of poverty, at what age should we relieve them of the burden of living, and put them out of their misery? "Abortion" in the 20th trimester could alleviate their suffering before they are forced into the school system where they might meet others to compare their own lives with, and thus they wouldn't additionally have to suffer the pain of knowing everyone else could see their plight.

I think you'd have to ask the kid how he feels. Perhaps you're right. (Tho I think it's presumptuous to make his decision for him.)

How very compassionate the Democrats are!
