Update on denial

The right wing continues espouse the idea Mueller's investigation exonerates President Trump, despite the fact it says specifically it doesn't. Reading has, apparently, has never been their strong point. It was clear Mueller's report left the execution of the crimes committed by President Trump Congress and the impeachment route. Yet as recent as today there was a blog taking the position the Mueller Report was insignificant. A sad but true report on the Americanism of the right wing.

Nancy Pelosi refused to commence impeachment proceedings because the certainty of impeachment was less than 100%. She consented once the President admitted wrong doing and assured positive results in an impeachment proceeding. The right wingers, however, refuse to listen to even their hero president for fear of having to admit their error in supporting a crook. This position eliminates even the possibility of a rational reason for their undying loyalty. But that hasn't stopped the erstwhile right wing from the feckless calling and unsubstantiated reasoning they tell us in their misplaced loyalty.

In the of all this, the right wing reverts third nyah, nyah, nyah as their retort to legitimate issues they refuse or are afraid to . Fear has disabled the right wing for decades with their last bastion of safety being the retention of nonsensical war weapons in preparation of fighting a government which operates in a manner opposing their idea of sound dictatorship.

It's time to become an American again and stop the nonsense the right wing now espouses as sound reasoning. I have come to believe this is a task burdened with common sense and in opposition to right wing principles.

It's disheartening what is going on. To expose this whistleblower is the ultimate betrayal of what it means to be a patriotic, elected public servant. It's nothing short of perverse. I don't see making excuses for the President as defending the man or the office or the law or even due process. The truth does all that, or it simply does not. This claim that what happened does not rise to the level that warrants impeachment is also a ridiculous assertion. That decision is simply not up to anyone other than House members. If the senate determines removal from office is not warranted then we have no choice but to accept that. That's a calculation senators, whether they like it or not, they have to make. They may face political consequences for their vote but that simply goes with the territory. I intend to accept their vote whatever it is. I'll give them the latitude they need to examine all the evidence and decide what is ultimately the best for the country. But I wish they would cease with the excuses and just do their job. Lindsay Graham telling the voters that he has no intention of reviewing the testimony is not doing his job. Then he shuts off the capability to contact him through the web. It's dishonest given his previous statements.

It is no secret that the Democrats have been planning to impeach Trump since five minutes after he won the election in 2016. The false Russia collusion narrative was supposed to be the kill shot to the president’s time in office. But special counsel Robert Mueller’s report revealed that their efforts were based on utter falsehoods.

If the recent moves by prosecutor John Durham are any indication, some important people have cause to be worried. The prosecutor is “very interested” in questioning former CIA Director John Brennan and former National Intelligence Director James Clapper. In fact, another source told Fox that Brennan was informed by his attorney that Durham might reach out to him. FBI agent Peter Strzok – a key member of the team investigating the Trump campaign – also might be a focus of the continuing investigation. He has been the subject of scrutiny since messages between himself and former FBI attorney Lisa Page revealed a distinct anti-Trump bias.

In the midst of an attempt to impeach President Donald Trump, the arrests of government officials who began an obvious politically motivated investigation is the last thing the Democrats want. While they use the president’s phone call with Ukraine as a pretext to conduct yet another probe, it might not be a good look if Durham indicts other officials for doing the same.

If this was anything like a rebuttal you might have a point. In fact it is nothing but a denial of facts and a glorification of conspiracy theory claptrap which has been debunked so thoroughly as to be irrelevant.
The Mueller report stated quite clearly that the case for collusion and obstruction was definitely made but a sitting president was protected from judicial sanction by precedent .
The trumped up Barr nonsense has turned up nothing but right wing accusations with no basis in evidence.
The articles of impeachment lay out a cast iron case of behaviour on behalf of the president which constitutes solid grounds for impeachment -- in fact there is such a plethora of grounds it is embarrassing.
Your denial just shows how far gone you are in imbibing the nonsense emanating from Faux Noise and how far you are removed from reality.

The Whistleblower is protected and at this point is no longer needed as there are witnesses that actually listened in on the call along with seeing and witnessing other activities that were/are potentially a threat to our country. So in short, the whistleblower's complaint has been corroborated by first hand witnesses. Trump only wants the whistleblower's name so he can bad-mouth him and have all of his little people repeat, repeat, repeat and repeat again anything and everything Trump tosses out as fact.

Hopefully you will watch the impeachment trial with an opened mind. Just for fun maybe you could avoid all the conservative site and just consider the facts that are presented BEFORE making up your mind. Surely you haven't made your mind up before even llstening to the witnesses.

How stupid can you get?
Whistleblower's identities are protected for a reason.

There is absolutely no reason why the person who brought this to light should be sworn in as everything that they brought out into the open has been confirmed by tRump himself.

Even your attempts at deflection are pretty lame.

You seem to forget the whistleblower in the Clinton Impeachment..My memories are she was named and testified. The most famous whistleblower of all time and you forget. Linda Tripp who began testifying before a federal grand jury in Washington, D.C., on what she knew about a sexual relationship between White House intern Monica Lewinsky and President Bill Clinton. Both Lewinsky and Clinton also subsequently went before the grand jury to answer questions, although Clinton appeared via closed-circuit television from the White House. Starr compiled an exhaustive report, which was made public and in time served as the basis of Clinton’s failed impeachment trial.

On Jan. 19, 2001, the last full day of the Clinton administration, Tripp was fired from her Pentagon post. Tripp’s attorneys charged that her dismissal was “vindictive, mean-spirited and wrong.”

In 2003, the government settled a lawsuit charging the Defense Department with violating the Privacy Act by leaking information from Tripp’s employment and security files to the media. The settlement included a payment to Tripp of more than $595,000, a retroactive promotion and retroactive pay for 1998, 1999 and 2000. She also received a pension.

My question was not a bloody challenge. Yo did not HAVE to prove how stupid you could get.

Tripp committed an ILLEGAL ACT (wiretapping surreptitiously) and was only saved from prosecution by making a deal to for immunity in exchange for her testimony.

The two are so obviously apples and oranges I am embarrassed for you that you had to copy and paste such a large section from wiki and then missing out the salient points.

My comment was not directed at you. I figure your "anger" is over the fact she whistled the goods on your hero Bill Clinton. I would say Linda Tripp did the country a HUGE favor in reveling the corruption within the Clinton Crime Family. I also figure you have enough problems over there in jolly old England with Randy Andy and the rest of the loony royals. Charles kills Lady Di. Who knows what else your country has been up to. You should concentrate on not being a pillock.

It certainly appears that you have made up your mind. As has a lot of others here. You asked if I could and would watch the impeachment trial with an open mind, I think I can, although the real question is can you? I am and always have been an American. As for the implication that questions my patriotism. I did not question yours and I resent your questioning mine. I ask are you willing to read a couple of articles I have Listed?
