It's disheartening what is going on. To expose this whistleblower is the ultimate betrayal of what it means to be a patriotic, elected public servant. It's nothing short of perverse. I don't see making excuses for the President as defending the man or the office or the law or even due process. The truth does all that, or it simply does not. This claim that what happened does not rise to the level that warrants impeachment is also a ridiculous assertion. That decision is simply not up to anyone other than House members. If the senate determines removal from office is not warranted then we have no choice but to accept that. That's a calculation senators, whether they like it or not, they have to make. They may face political consequences for their vote but that simply goes with the territory. I intend to accept their vote whatever it is. I'll give them the latitude they need to examine all the evidence and decide what is ultimately the best for the country. But I wish they would cease with the excuses and just do their job. Lindsay Graham telling the voters that he has no intention of reviewing the testimony is not doing his job. Then he shuts off the capability to contact him through the web. It's dishonest given his previous statements.

If this was anything like a rebuttal you might have a point. In fact it is nothing but a denial of facts and a glorification of conspiracy theory claptrap which has been debunked so thoroughly as to be irrelevant.
The Mueller report stated quite clearly that the case for collusion and obstruction was definitely made but a sitting president was protected from judicial sanction by precedent .
The trumped up Barr nonsense has turned up nothing but right wing accusations with no basis in evidence.
The articles of impeachment lay out a cast iron case of behaviour on behalf of the president which constitutes solid grounds for impeachment -- in fact there is such a plethora of grounds it is embarrassing.
Your denial just shows how far gone you are in imbibing the nonsense emanating from Faux Noise and how far you are removed from reality.

The Whistleblower is protected and at this point is no longer needed as there are witnesses that actually listened in on the call along with seeing and witnessing other activities that were/are potentially a threat to our country. So in short, the whistleblower's complaint has been corroborated by first hand witnesses. Trump only wants the whistleblower's name so he can bad-mouth him and have all of his little people repeat, repeat, repeat and repeat again anything and everything Trump tosses out as fact.

Hopefully you will watch the impeachment trial with an opened mind. Just for fun maybe you could avoid all the conservative site and just consider the facts that are presented BEFORE making up your mind. Surely you haven't made your mind up before even llstening to the witnesses.

Trump needs to be sworn in and questioned.

How stupid can you get?
Whistleblower's identities are protected for a reason.

There is absolutely no reason why the person who brought this to light should be sworn in as everything that they brought out into the open has been confirmed by tRump himself.

Even your attempts at deflection are pretty lame.

My question was not a bloody challenge. Yo did not HAVE to prove how stupid you could get.

Tripp committed an ILLEGAL ACT (wiretapping surreptitiously) and was only saved from prosecution by making a deal to for immunity in exchange for her testimony.

The two are so obviously apples and oranges I am embarrassed for you that you had to copy and paste such a large section from wiki and then missing out the salient points.

"It's time to become an American again and stop the nonsense the right wing now espouses as sound reasoning." To borrow a quote from the original blog.
