Pro-Birtherism

I see the Pro-Birthers are it again, this time with glee and confidence. Fully convinced the Bork-like Supreme Court will overturn the 40+ ruling, these right wing , mostly , pundits lie awake nightly pondering an abortion free nation. Meanwhile, millions of already born folks can't afford health care because these same right wingers lost their concern when they were castrated to comply with the anti-abortion program.

This new attack on female rights has , sure, with new plans for the 70+ of poverty and welfare some of these non-aborted fetuses will face once they are welcomed into this world by the Pro-Birthers. The fact many of them will never enjoy the security of health care since the right wingers really don't have a plan and are, afraid, incapable of devising one. Nevermind this, however, let's just kill obstetricians who perform abortions because the laws of this land do not apply to those right wingers who choose not to obey them.

The Roe v. Wade decision is predicated on a right to privacy ensconced in the penumbras of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Here again, the right wingers feel no to honor privacy because their agenda far outweighs a female's agenda. God told them . This even after same God told Abraham to sacrifice his Isaac and then later let His own die despite pleas to the contrary. It looks a little like convenience rather than some religious principle.

The NRA is crumbling, President Trump stands shakily on the precipice of impeachment, tariffs are moving us closer to a recession, 29 criminal investigations into the business and tax activities of President Trump, our nation remains in precarious operation due to inferior department head appointments and we are lied to on an average of 12 to 15 times a day doesn't seem to constitute a factor over which the right wingers might have questions about their fearless leader. Now we are perched on the prospect of war again and the Secretary of State sees fit to meet with Vladimir Putin rather than those who may be of assistance should war .

And the misled right wingers wonder why we see them as incompetent............

Prejudice cannot be conquered with logic, logic didn't instill it and logic cannot eradicate it.

I just saw two adjacent news articles that seemed to me to illustrate how ludicrous these abortion bills are. On the one hand is the Alabama bill that outlaws abortion even in the case of incest and ra*pe and the other is the sentencing of a single mother of 5 to 25 years in prison for child neglect.........Looks like the American public will be paying for the incarceration of doctors who perform abortions, women who can't manage to take care of children they are forced to birth and will also be paying for the foster-care of all those hundreds of thousands of extra children, who, as statistics show, are going to spend time behind bars.

The irony is that the people who want to eliminate abortion are the same people who don't want universal health care, who don't care that American babies and their birthing mothers have the highest death rate in the developed world........... Their priorities are insane when taken in context.......

I see today that Trump is labeling Iran 'an imminent threat'. He's itching for war, and I suspect he'll have it his way with the way he's spreading his propaganda and arousing his base. He's more interested in his secret meetings with Putin than tending to the homeland. He continues to require dramatic diversions. It works for him.

There's an upcoming election. It's the Republican way to start a war. Bolton is a war-monger, who's itching to go to war.

Next the lawmakers will be putting every woman they suspect of being pregnant in prison until they deliver a baby. What's next.....take away a woman's right to vote, to drive a car, or to be President? How about making us wear a Hijab?

If I was a woman who lived in Alabama, and couldn't afford to raise a child, or for a multitude of other reasons, I would cross into another state that allowed abortion.

The other Southern states also have increasingly restrictive laws governing abortion clinics, forcing women to wait 24 hours between sessions . For instance, they are legally required to have a counselling session and wait at least 24 hours before having the abortion, or required to have a scan and wait a day or more.....This creates financial and/or time restrictions on many women, who would have to miss work, pay for overnight child-care, pay for a hotel, gas as well as the abortion.......she may not have the use of a car to drive hundreds of miles to the next clinic........The number of clinics, especially in the South have been drastically reduced in the last few years, so a large state has gone from 20 clinics to one or two, making the distances unmanageable.

Personally I don't think Alabama went far enough.
Every sperm and ovum is a potential human being and deserves the same protection as a fetus.

So Alabama should immediately make masturbation, wet dreams, and menstruation criminal offences.
