The Silent Scream is propaganda......A horror film riddled with lies, exaggerations and emotional manipulations......It has been debunked my medical experts all over the world. Women are not baby-machines,as the film implies, but fully functioning Humans who have a right to decide when they will give birth.

Almost all abortions are performed before the 12th week......at which stage the embryo hasn't developed a nervous system that feels pain. It isn't capable of voluntary movement and is incapable of screaming......even if there was air in his lungs.....which there isn't....At 12 weeks, its less than 2inches........I've had several spontaneous abortions, one as late as 15 weeks and all there was, was blood and blood clots......You were duped......

There is no point in posting all the articles debunking the Silent Scream......If you are interested, you can google it yourself......I actually don't care that you prefer ignorance over facts.......I live in a country that has no restrictions on abortion and they are free and performed mostly in hospitals as an out-patient procedure. In this atmosphere, 97. 99% of abortions are performed in the first 6 weeks or so, by a simple suction method, or a morning-after pill is taken.......Canada and other countries who have universal health care and unrestricted abortion have many fewer abortions per capita than the USA......maybe it has something to do with the practical, factual birth-control education in schools....the US has a high rate of teen pregnancy.....Or maybe it's because of the universal health-care where ALL women have easy access to birth-control and planning information from her doctor, and the most successful, long term method, which is the IUD, is freely accessible to all. Thing is, the Women's Health Clinics that supply poor women with education and pregnancy health and nutrition education and many other women's health needs are targeted by Anti-Abortion groups and get shut down by imposed State laws ...........

Apparently you don't understand the difference between Pro-Choice and Pro-Abortion.......I support that everything be done to support women's reproductive health. What are you doing to educate young men on how to prevent pregnancy.....why is it only a woman's responsibility?.....I have never had an abortion, neither has anyone in my family, but I know women who have had abortions and it's an agonizing decision. As far as me going to hell and damnation.......you can keep your ludicrous superstitions to yourself........

You are being downright ridiculous! What a stupid and totally crazy comment to make... I can't believe any sensible, educated person could even think that. The whole subject of abortion... and, indeed, of birth itself... involves both men and women. Both are needed to produce children... so both must take equal responsibility. W I think it's less that Sparkle dislikes men and more that you hate women.

Women are Human Beings with all the faults, inconsistencies and frailties we all share. Your attitude is ludicrous.......Women don't have to be either of the extremes you cite......That is just a Maisie-ism that has no basis in reality.......The world isn't all black and white, either/or............I know it's very difficult and trying for you to accept the grey areas of life, but pretending everything fits into the imaginary categories you have come up with doesn't reflect reality.

There you go again with your constant splitting.........Maybe you haven't heard, but it takes both men and women to conceive a child......that penis-juice is kinda necessary........and you think that acknowledging the participation of men in the process means I don't like them?..........Roe/Wade is not just a women's issue, it's a man's issue, a children's issue, a social issue and at this point in time in the US, very much a political issue.......being that most of the people making the decisions are men as well, I don't know how you can say it's just about women......The behaviour of men, since they are presently in control of the decisions concerning the laws, men are very much part of this discussion.......In case you hadn't noticed, this blog was posted by a man, as are most blogs about abortion.......as are the most emotional comments.

My "free pass" comment was in response to Maisie's opinion that abortion is solely a Women's issue.........That's my point, that it takes 2 to make a baby......and that men are often involved in making decisions involving the pregnancy. Many men have used harsh means in order to persuade women to have abortions.....like threatening abandonment and even violence......like a "biker abortion" where his buddies grab a girl-friend and hold her while he kicks and/or punches her until she bleeds. Making abortion illegal or so difficult that many women can't , will lead to back-door abortions that lead to deaths, injury and emergency rooms...........

I'm certainly not saying it's all the guy's fault......I'm saying it's equally the man and the woman's responsibility and that "Fault" is irrelevant to the discussion.

Human sexuality is powerful and complex as is the relationships between men and women.......many people are lacking in the faculties that most of us are equipped with......maybe mental illness, history of abuse and/or trauma, lack of education, lack of intelligence, common sense, are stuck in poverty and have overwhelming living situations, immaturity,substance abuse.....the list goes on and on....... giving these people lectures on how they should deal with their sexuality and sexual relationships, sensible birth-control........shoulding on people doesn't change circumstances......unwanted pregnancy happens...saying they should put a baby up for adoption when pregnancy and birth may cause her to be laid off......and she can't abide the agony of giving up a child.....so yet another child is born into circumstances that are very dangerous for a child...........Just repeating what should happen changes nothing.

Well, Bigblock, your inability to understand the difference between the idea of a Human and an actual Human is pretty perplexing as well........Maybe it's rooted in your beliefs in imaginary beings and imaginary after-lives being more important than the health of the Earth and the living beings who live here......
