Garden visit to RHS Rosemoor It is always a pleasure to visit the Royal Horticultural Show garden at Rosemoor near Torrington, North Devon. Wisteria tea rooms Waterfall on woodland walk Quiet corner in shrub rose garden Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother memorial Rose Garden Lake view Hot garden (Reds, yellows and oranges) Cottage garden border Cool garden (mostly blue with water features) Acer atropurpureum. Cream tea to recharge the batteries after all that walking. |

For some, inexplicable reason, the tea room has reproduced itself a couple of extra times.

Thank you for this garden walk. I enjoyed the wide variety of colourful flowers and the scent of roses. A cup of tea and scones with clotted cream and jam in the tea room is the crowning finish of such a wonderful day. In our village, Lady Bedford's Tea Parlor is a unique change of pace. It is a special place to have breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea in a Victorian atmosphere with crystal, fine china, linen table cloths and napkins. It is like visiting the UK. Beautiful gardens. Thats the direction I take when I need some peace and that lovely garden atmosphere that I have known since I as a child. My father was a gardener and we spent a lot of time with him in his garden. Beautiful place to relax away from all the problems of the world.
