It's easy to pick English at a basic level.
It's far more difficult to use it well.
E.g for Slavic speakers indefinite articles are a problem.
Then there is the spelling and pronunciation.
Hard for someone who comes from a language where words are spelled as pronounced and vice versa.

Just curious...will we just point to the monkeys in the zoo one day to avoid naming them. My girls used to love to go to the San Diego Zoo and see the monkeys.

If we went my majority rule we would all be speaking Mandarin Chinese. A close second would be Spanish and English coming in third.

Mandarin Chinese? I am still struggling to understand Jiminyese.

There is no old saying in the English language "monkey this up" or monkey it up.

Some old sayings are, mess it up … screw it up … fuc _ it up … start it up. There's no monkey it up … never heard it.

Dusty, it appears to be a dog-whistle to you. To me, it is simply a phrase which has been around for ages. I don't know why, but leftists appear to actively look for words and phrases which can be interpreted as "dog-whistles."
