 Interesting ..... yes, I had read about the Buffalo Soldiers, and there was even a movie about them.... starred Danny Glover, I think.
But do you want to know what I think? Well, I'll tell you anyway.
I think it is time to stop trying to change our history. It was what it was. Instead of trying to erase it, we should remember the bad parts, and the good parts, and learn from all the mistakes. We should move forward, trying to do better..... not become victims of the history, but masters of the future.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

The Native-Americans complain little when you consider the fact that we tried to physically exterminate them. Their culture barely survived and in the name of political correctness it too may disappear.

 BTW..... I got a chuckle when I looked at blog titles this morning. Yours said, "What Do We Do?" and right below it is Maisie's with the title, "Haven't You Done Enough?"

Maisie and I think alike at times but she expresses herself more eloquently than I do. She prefers to reason with the beasts while I prefer to tell them to piss off.

That about covers it for me mrsjoe.
Up here in Canada the Liberals and Indigenous people want to tear down statues and rename buildings, streets, schools, etc, of all the founding fathers who had any thing to do with the plight of the Indigenous people.
