Joe used to be a Democrat (indoctrinated since youth) but has voted for various Republicans, so in truth he is an Independent. I've always been an Independent voter.
The idea of being a REGISTERED any thing is repulsive to me. Why do we have to be a member of any party? They both stink when it comes to their "platform". What a big ass kind of deal is that, anyway? Just another way to keep sheeples in line?

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I have voted split ticket many times also but I have NEVER voted for a Carter, a Clinton, or an Obama...EVER.

You normally have to be registered to vote in primaries. No matter what your party affiliation is you can vote either way in the general elections.

But couldn't some of the hate [Democrat voters] be apportioned to a sense of injustice Fossil?

If it is a matter of proportion, Lilium, the party which promotes government dependence is the one ultimately to blame when even more is demanded. In the United States it is the liberals and liberals translates to Democrats.
