Facing Reality

You know what, it is hard to admit but either the software on this site is limited or by some mischance I am searching for the wrong thing!
Tonight I went to a charity head shaving - first time! and it was my own in law who did it for a 's cancer trust - the band was fantastic and I had a great time. I came home too buzzed up to go to bed so signed on and answered a few emails.
I'm exam marking at present (I am a teacher) so I get a bit nuts around this time of year. Tonight was the first time I had been out like that in a year - what a waste of time, so many of us come home do what we have to then log on or watch TV.
You know what - if my had not introduced me to each individual member of the band as HIS MOTHER! I could have had one of them - to prove my point it did not matter because 3 of them propositioned me during the evening! what a compliment and lift to the spirits! OK so they are rampant with hormones and will fuck anything that moves - I don't care it made me feel good. That is what my blog is all about - forget age get out there and enjoy life (you only get one).
As a footnote - no I am not a groupie, I did not have sex with one of the band but I seriously lusted over all of them!
I think it is easy to label yourself as a senior citizen and take that slot in life when you have so much more to be happy about so forget your age and go out have fun. Ring me if you have a problem with that - I can almost guarantee I will be available!
Regards Sara

It sounds to me like you are a woman having trouble with aging, but to flaunt how popular you still are with young men is not very attractive. Male attention seems very important to you, as if by including that in your story it would somehow validate to us that you are a desirable woman. A photo would be better so we can make our own judgments about how attractive you are. Let's face it we all get old, and this is a seniors group so we understand your feelings, but personally I don't think it was necessary to use the F-Bomb in your story.

It's so easy to go from work, to homework, to tv or computer....and miss the wonderful world out there.

Go for it!!! ... just be careful!!!

Sarajay, good for you. All too many of us spend our last years planning for and looking forward to our finals instead of living out loud. You know that a female elected representative was censored and not allowed to speak because she uttered the word "vagina" on the floor, even though the legislatures were making laws that affected women's vaginas. Many of our society can't tolerate any type of activity that involves bodily fluids so we have substitute names for them such as poop, #1, #2, and God forbid you assault the delicate senses with the street slang for sexual cohabitation.

The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page: St. Augustine

Speaking out is good. But expect repercussions if not in the norm of a forum. Doesn't mean one is wrong. Just maybe rankled the ire... of the norm.

It's amazing how many respond to a blog based on what they think they see. And then others vilify that response.... And pretend they have no clue.

Hi Sarah

You were going to travel to Australia for a wedding - what happened to your plans?
