Muslims My Azz!

Barack Obama, during his Cairo speech, said:
"I know, too, that Islam has always been a part
of America 's story."

AN AMERICAN CITIZEN'S RESPONSE:

Dear Mr. Obama:

Were those Muslims that were in America when the Pilgrims first landed?
Funny, I thought they were Native American Indians.

Were those Muslims that celebrated the first Thanksgiving day?
Sorry again, those were Pilgrims and Native American Indians.

Can you show me one Muslim signature on the United States Constitution?

Declaration of Independence ?

Bill of Rights?

Didn't think so.

Did Muslims fight for this country's freedom from England ?
No.

Did Muslims fight during the Civil War to free the slaves in America ?
No, they did not.

In fact, Muslims to this day are still the largest traffickers in human slavery.. Your own half brother, a devout Muslim, still advocates slavery himself, even though Muslims of Arabic descent refer to black Muslims as "pug nosed slaves." Says a lot of what the Muslim world really thinks of your family's "rich Islamic heritage," doesn't it Mr. Obama?

Where were Muslims during the Civil Rights era of this country?
Not present.

There are no pictures or media accounts of Muslims walking side by side with Martin Luther King, Jr. or helping to advance the cause of Civil Rights

Where were Muslims during this country's Woman's suffrage era?
Again, not present.

In fact, devout Muslims demand that women are subservient to men in the Islamic culture. So much so, that often they are beaten for not wearing the 'hajib' or for talking to a man who is not a
direct family member or their husband.
Yep, the Muslims are all for women's rights, aren't they?

Where were Muslims during World War II? They were aligned with Adolf Hitler. The Muslim grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler, reviewed the troops and accepted support from the Nazi's in killing Jews.

Finally, Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th, 2001? If they weren't flying planes into the World Trade Center , the Pentagon or a field in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on our own soil, they were rejoicing in the Middle East .

No one can dispute the pictures shown from all parts of the Muslim world celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other
cable news networks that day.

Strangely, the very "moderate" Muslims who's azzes you bent over backwards to kiss in Cairo , Egypt on June 4th were stone cold silent post 9-11.

To many Americans, their silence has meant approval for the acts of that day.

And THAT, Mr. Obama, is the "rich heritage" Muslims have here in America ..

Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to mention the Barbary Pirates.
They were Muslim.

And now we can add November 5, 2009 - the slaughter of American soldiers at Fort Hood by a Muslim major who is a doctor and a psychiatrist who was supposed to be counseling soldiers returning from battle in Iraq and Afghanistan ..

That, Mr. Obama
is the "Muslim heritage" in America

Muslim Heritage, my azz!

Hi Michael: I may be wrong, but it sounds like you don't like Muslims or President Obama. I wonder how you know there were no Muslims on the Mayflower, marching with Martin Luther King or working in the WTC on 9/11???? There are people of many races and religions in North America, so you better get used to it. A little tolerance goes a long way.

Hi Michael, You may have had problems with Muslims in your life. Remember God made us all, Muslims, Jews, Catholics, and we are all made in his image. We have a community of Muslims living in a certain part of South Dublin and they cause no problems to anyone. The only thing I find is, I cant smile at them!!! I cant see their faces. I dont know what is going to happen to the world, but I dont think Muslims will be the cause of its downfall.

Lemme ask you something. What would your reaction have been if he had said that about Jews?

Did you notice that all the support for muslims is coming from folks outside the USA. Maybe we can convince the muslims to go to those countries. They sure are not going to help the USA be a better place.

Sorry about posting the same blog.

There were 327 foreign nationals killed on 9/11. These include those from Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Jordan and Lebanon.
I can assure you that we, in Malaysia, were NOT rejoicing after September 11th 2001 because 4 Malaysians were killed on that fateful day and their bodies were never recovered.

Live today as if it is your last
For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Rusty and others might be interested in learning that 'outsiders' are undoubtedly more interested in global politics, especially in the US simply because the US is the largest country and much depends on the outcome of your elections. While I realize that Rusty once claimed to have no interest whatsoever in any other country's politics etc, he just might be interested in learning that others do care what happens globally!! So happy that our own election campaigning only goes on for 30 days: less headache, quick decisions and less $$$ absorbed by the taxpayers!!!!!!!

Interesting perspective. As only a second generation I just have to ask How many of our ancestors were on the Mayflower or even part of the early history of the US? Does that make us suspect? I am not a Muslim but not a Christian either. Does that make me a terrorist threat? I hope not.

"Islam was in America even before there was a United States. But Muslims didn’t peaceably emigrate — slave-traders brought them here."

"Historians estimate that up to 30 percent of enslaved blacks were Muslims. West African prince Abdul Rahman, freed by President John Quincy Adams in 1828 after 40 years in captivity, was only one of many African Muslims kidnapped and sold into servitude in the New World. In early America, Muslim names could be found in reports of runaway slaves as well as among rosters of soldiers in the Revolutionary War. Muslims fought to preserve American independence in the War of 1812 and for the Union in the Civil War. And more than a century later, thousands of African Americans, including Cassius Clay and Malcolm Little, converted to Islam."

"Currently, there are two Muslim members of Congress and thousands of Muslims on active duty in the armed forces. Sure, some Muslim soldiers may have been born elsewhere, but if you wear the uniform of the United States and are willing to die for this country, can you be really be considered a foreigner?"

bijou624...Robyn5.........You two ladies are sure in a hurry to jump to conclusions. As you can tell this is a C&P and plainly states: AN AMERICAN CITIZENS RESPONSE. I don't particularly like or dislike Muslims as a whole. But I do not like the way they treat women, honor killings, that it is alright to kill infidels (especially since we are considered infidels)and a number of their other beliefs. I cannot respect a president that does away with our "National Day of Prayer" but the "Muslim's Day of Prayer" is held on White House Grounds and our president joins them for their day of prayer. What does that tell you? You are free to have your beliefs and I am free to have mine. And bijou....you said a little tolerance goes a long way.....that is a true statement.....but you need to look in your mirror when you say that.

Wishing you a good day ladies.

Hi Michael: Thanks for the response. When you say that I am the one who should be more tolerant of other people's beliefs, maybe you're right. By the same token though, wouldn't that same advice apply to people who hate Muslims for what they think are their beliefs? All I know Michael is that Al Qaeda hates America, so if there's ever going to be any peace in the world then hateful blogs like this about Muslims sure aren't helping.

Meri, no one is talking about tolerance but this is definitely a racist blog!!

Hobson, kudos to you, thank you! I had already researched that point and saw the article, but I now feel better that that article was posted here by an American. Now Rusty, Michael et al can't say we 'outsiders' are commenting... LOL

Railroadman (best known as the ole 60minman).. hating women? Oh I forgot, you do label people quite nicely as we all well know. In other words, if one doesn't agree with you, we are labelled!! Well here's one for you sir, most of us here (yes including Americans) have a label for you too!!

As for caring about 'London', Rentier is correct and you 60minman, would do well to learn about the politics etc of a global nature. Oh but I forgot: you and Rusty think alike and he doesn't give a raz azz about any other country either ... using blinders always works best for you two; such tunnel vision certainly shows your lack of intellectual abilities!

Isn't it about time for you to write another American bashing blog, where your Canadian friends can say again that you're not doing it? lol What was it you said about a warped perspective now?

Then obviously you don't know me because as most who do know me will tell you, I'm not frightened of anything. You can pretend to be anyone you want. Obviously you have a need to hide behind that faceless photo so that tells us something too. Stop pretending, no one believes you!!! Regardless of you 'do not' claim to be, you are the one who is not reading my comments; did you mention the word 'intelligent'? What a laugh that is. Just look at your pitiful self!!!

I care about crappy London.

My ruler, ERII - peace be upon her, lives there in Buck House.

Having sworn an oath of allegiance to her in 1961, and having been granted a commission in her armed forces four years later, I take great interest whenever she is in peril.

I always find it curious when anyone denounces Muslims for being warlike and claims Christians are peace-loving.

Looking at only the 20th century it's obvious that good, peace-loving Christians were behind most of the violence. Those nice Catholic and Lutheran Germans are one example.

More recently, Christian Serbs and Croats massacred each other as well as Muslims. Russian Christians killed a lot of Muslims in Chechnya.

Anyone worried about Muslims in the armed forces should check with the Indians. India has more Muslims living in it than does Pakistan. Muslims in the Indian forces belong to their own units, at least in the army. So far as I know, their loyalty is not in question.

Apparently during one of the India-Pakistan wars, Pakistani troops were faced with a force approaching them crying 'God is great' in Arabic. They thought these were there own guys. Turned out to be an Indian regiment comprised of Muslims who proceeded to kill them.
