How Soon Will Comey Retire?

The matter of FBI Director Comey's letter to eight republican members of congress has resulted in a complaint filed with the Department of Justice.

While the FBI is the investigative arm of the DOJ, the DOJ is the prosecutorial entity.

The fact that Comey (a lifelong republican) sent his nebulous letter to only republican members of congress gives credence to the claim of Felonious Election Tampering.

Comey did not inform either of the candidates before the release of his letter as is normally the appropriate thing to do. In addition he violated FBI protocol which indicates that no FBI involvement in elections is to occur within sixty days of an election.

There is Federal law that addresses this. It is named the Hatch Act and is prosecutable under Federal law.

The Hatch Act provides for punishment if election tampering occurs for political reasons. The fact that Comey informed only republican members of congress supports the claim for "political reasons".

The specific prohibited actions of a Federal employee are as follows:

"Prohibited Activities:

May not use their official authority or influence to interfere with an election

May not solicit, accept or receive political contributions unless both individuals are members of the same Federal labor organization or employee organization and the one solicited is not a subordinate employee
May not knowingly solicit or discourage the political activity of any person who has business before the agency
May not engage in political activity while on duty

May not engage in political activity in any government office
May not engage in political activity while wearing an official uniform
May not engage in political activity while using a government vehicle
May not be candidates for public office in partisan elections
May not wear political buttons on duty

How on earth can the FBI possibly obtain, read and determine if thousands of e-mails were confidential or not, all in the next few days? I know Comey had a big decision to make, but I think he just lost the election for Hillary. Didn't the FBI even interview Huma and ask her if she had any more State Dept. e-mails before they closed the investigation months ago? If anyone should get in trouble over this, shouldn't it be Huma? After this long and expensive campaign, this must be heartbreaking news for Hillary, and I can't even imagine how she must be feeling.

For the first time in years, yesterday Huma was not on the plane with Hillary. Trump and his t.v. surrogates are really upping their hateful conspiracies now. One surrogate is suggesting that Weiner might have sent State Dept confidential e-mails along with his nude pics to minors??? I listened to Trump speaking at his rally yesterday and I could see no difference whatsoever between Trump's speech and one of Hitler's speeches.
