Conservative's Hope for Life Boat Smashed - Rush to Judgement Republican candidate Donald Trump was quick to seize on the FBI three paragraph letter to congress. He characterized this as the FBI reopening the investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private server. One SFF blogger parroted the republican talking point. Let us be clear about a few things. The first is the FBI letter is not indicative of reopening the investigation...in fact the investigation has not been formally closed at any point. The actual letter from Director Comey is as follows:  Next the emails the FBI located were found on a device or devices apparently not examined prior to now. These are devices beyond the server, phones and laptops that Hillary Clinton or the State Department used. Those devices have already been examined. Next the devices reportedly were those owned by Anthony Weiner and his former wife Huma Abedin. The emails came to light during an investigation of Anthony Weiner. This probably involves emails between Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin during the time of their marriage. The subject or the content of those emails; their relation to the former investigation in which Director Comey said no evidence existed of criminal wrongdoing and their criminality or lack thereof is pure and simple speculation at best. Nothing the FBI has provided indicate that these emails were illegal or that they involved Hillary Clinton or the State Department. Since Huma Abedin is Ms. Clinton's secretary, it is highly unlikely that Hillary Clinton told Huma Abedin to email Anthony Weiner and divulge state secrets. That simply is highly unlikely and illogical. At any rate, to indicate the investigation of emails found in an unrelated investigation are indicative of Clinton wrong doing is premature and founded on nothing other than supposition. Rather than waiting for the FBI to conduct their investigation, republicans are trying to fabricate a life boat for their losing candidate out of tissue paper. They would be better served to save the tissue paper for their next bowel movement. |

This gives the impression of wrongdoing and 11 days before the election there's no way the FBI will be able to review thousands of additional e-mails. Huma has said that Hillary had trouble reading long e-mails on her hand held device so Huma would forward long e-mails to her ya--hoo account and print them out at home. She said she didn't even read the e-mails and just gave the printed copies to Hillary. Unfortunately Weiner lived in that home with Huma and probably access to those printed State Dept e-mails. Regardless of what was in the additional e-mails, if Hillary knew that Huma was printing thousands of State Dept e-mails at home, e-mails Huma said she didn't even read so didn't know if they were confidential or not, then this could be a big deal.

Don, if they found indisputable proof that Hillary sent a classified e-mail to the Devil she still wouldn't be half as bad as Trump.  lol
