The Dangerous Discord Emanating From Donald Trump As polls are increasingly indicating a massive victory for Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump has resorted to claims the election is "rigged". One could have predicted this course of action from Trump because he seemingly has a propensity to blame others and to avert personal responsibility whether it be for his numerous bankruptcies or his wife's clearly orchestrated allegations that he was baited into saying "dirty things". This morning's 538 predictions (Polls Plus) show Trump having a 15.4% chance of defeating Ms. Clinton. (down from 17% yesterday) What is particularly dangerous is Trump's allegations of a "rigged election". These claims are being addressed and discounted by members of the republican party in addition to universal condemnation from Democrats. Republicans have long made claims of voter fraud. So these claims from Trump are really the logical outgrowth of allusions perpetrated by the republican party itself. It should be noted that one study found only 31 cases of voter misidentification in one billion ballots cast. So much for voter fraud...the whistle intended to suppress voter turnout among minorities. The danger lies in Trump's attempt to delegitimize the election. Clearly Mr. Trump cares more about his ego than he does for the future of this great nation. |

Trump has turned the entire election process into a nightmare. I can't even imagine Hillary having to get up on that stage with that lunatic tonight for a serious 'debate'. Reporters interviewed several Trump supporters standing in line to go into one of his rallies. OMG these supporters were a bunch of angry rednecks threatening to 'take Hillary out' if she wins, saying everyone and everything is corrupt, fixed and rigged to defeat their hero Trump. OMG some were calling for violence, bloodshed, revolution, 'pitchforks' and 'torches'. All of this hate and division in the country courtesy of Donald Trump. Even if Hillary wins, you have to wonder what Trump and his yahoo angry supporters are capable of doing???? How scary.
