SYMPTOM OF A PROPER LEARNED MAN

Who is a learned man ,generally we say -who has higher educational degree is a learned man.Not exactly that a real learned man is -who has some special qualities:-
1.must have to be a nice mind.
2.must have to be sympathetic with others.
3.must have to be gentle.
4.must have to think others.
5.must have to reeving power .
6.must have to sacrificing tendency.
7.must have to be give value of others opinion.
8.must have to be financial solvent.
9.must have to be good health.
10.must have to be energetic.
If you think where is the relation of learned and good health,yes if you show your knowledge you have to be an energetic and healthy.

I agree with your list, except that I'm not sure what #5 is.

Common sense is always a good thing too.

I'm not sure about #5 either. Even leaving #5 out, it is doubtful you will find many learned men on this site.

Hi Floating: Interesting idea, but I don't think I understand what you mean. There are many desirable traits a person could have, but what do any of them have to do with being learned? Money, energy, good health, and reeving power (?) for example ... an uneducated person can have these too.

In point 5 has word mistake"receiving" is correct.Honorable bob77021kept a question why does some one have to be financially solvent to be considered "a learned man".It is in this sense that most of the learned creation can be purchase by money.
