911 revisited

About once a year I go to you-tub and other sources to see what's new in the 911 conspiracy world.

I initially became interested in this because of the Flight 77 hit on the Pentagon.

Looking at the hole in the outer wall of the Pentagon where the plane supposedly hit, it's difficult to believe it was caused by an airplane.

The hole, before the wall collapsed, is roughly the size of an airplane fuselage.
This means the wings, tail, and engines should have been sheared off and lying in front of the wall.

Nothing of that sort is to be seen in the photo.

I learned some new information in my latest browsing on the matter.

- The NIST report and the 911 Commission report have Flight 77 coming in on two different tracks. Several eyewitnesses, including Pentagon police, back the NIST version.

This is important because only the 911 Commission version explains how several light standards were knocked down.

- The FBI confiscated a lot of video tapes from the area of the Pentagon, and these have never been released.

- A high level Justice Dept official says he got two calls from his wife who was on Flight 77 and talked to her for a couple of minutes. The FBI says she made one call, and that lasted 0 seconds. He says the call came into his office, and one of the secretaries picked it up and called him. It would interesting to find the secretary.

- Thermite was found in the WTC debris. Thermite is an explosive used by the military and not something that you can make in your kitchen.

- Molten metal was seen at the WTC site. The temperatures in the WTC would not have been high enough to melt steel if only jet fuel and office furnishings were burning.

- Many witnesses at the WTC. including firefighters, heard multiple explosions in the buildings after the planes hit.

A number of people have tested cellular phone calls from airplanes at various altitudes since then. The success rate of such is dismal, decreasing dramatically with altitude. This casts some doubt on the calls supposedly made from Flight 77 and Flight 93, the one that came down in PA.

There are other interesting anomalies as well.

Just watch some stuff on U-tub on the subject. It's a fairly lengthy video in three parts that runs for five hours or so.

I was wrong about the hole in outer wall of the Pentagon.
The round hole the size of an airplane fuselage was in the C ring of the building and not on the exterior wall.

But that poses problems of its own for the airplane strike theory.

Also learned some new stuff:
- the flight data recorders from the two WTC planes were never recovered, supposedly. That's interesting in that all the debris from the WTC was carefully raked over.
-The FBI turned down FOIA requests for the serial numbers of the data flight recorders of the airplanes in the Pentagon and Pennsylvania hits. Why? Serial numbers can identify the particular aircraft it was installed in. Such a denial feeds the conspiracy theories.
- The fires at the WTC weren't finally put out until December. What fueled them for so long? My thought was natural gas lines to the WTC, but one would hope that any fuel lines to the WTC would have been shut off quickly.

I listened to historian Richard Dolan talking about this.

His explanation as to why so few people want to look at the evidence is that the implication, if true, is so awful they don't want to know.

It means the US government has lied, once again, to the public, and is covering it up with an investigation designed to deliver a predetermined verdict, as with the Warren commission.

It's very weird when conservatives, who distrust government, blindly swallow reports put out by government commissions when those findings have holes big enough to drive a truck through.

Brings to mind the people who still think the Warren Report is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

    Quoting GavinLS2:
What's to comment on? This is just a rehash of old conspiracy theories. Most if not all have been unable to substantiate, or have been discredited. Not saying anything about the validity of the implied premise of these comments, but nothing here sheds any new light on the topic.

The hole in the wall before the wall collapsed is documented.

It has not been discredited to the best of my knowledge.

There is also video of reporters at the scene shortly after the event stating on camera that there was no airplane wreckage.

I find it surprising and interesting that no American has posted a comment on this - one of the most momentous events in North America in my lifetime.
