Cyberspace stupidity I just followed a thread on my FB page about Craig Cobb, the nutter who wants to buy up some small town, and turn it into a Whites-only municipality. The number of inane and/or inaccurate comments are amazing. One guys said Cobb is in the US of a green card. Another asks how he could buy property in the US if he is Canadian. Many of them state that the guy should be sent back to Canada because of his hate crime activity in Vancouver. A quick check using Dr. Google shows that Cobb has dual citizenship so that he can't be sent back unless Canada asks for extradition. Nor was he convicted of hate crimes here. He was charged, but skipped to the US before appearing in court. And the offence he is charged with is not a crime in the US. Why don't people do some simple checking before posting? Kind brings to mind SFF blogging. Anyone remember how the first thing Hitler did on coming to power was to ban private ownership of firearms? |

Never heard of Craig Cobb or his aspirations. I don't think I missed much. BTW, I could be wrong, but I believe Hitler didn't ban guns for everyone. Just some groups he wanted to keep defenseless. (Mostly urban Jews I think, that were confined to inner city ghettos.) And I'm not sure when he did it, so I'm not sure if it was among his first acts or not. GBU, Gavin Have a read.

You aren't fully disclosing what happened in '38. I have a blog on that if you would care to learn more. Hitler's 38 law loosened firearm restrictions. Jews were disarmed, but they also lost their radios, cars, cameras, jobs and other possessions, so taking their guns is not particularly significant in itself.
