Beam me up Scotty

What will happen to Christians when the rapture fails to materialize on Sunday?

Will they admit, finally, that they don't have the only straight phone line to God?

Will they finally admit that the Bible is a book, like many other books, that is flawed in its account and its interpretation?

Will they consult with other religions to find out what they have been missing for eons and finally admit that they don't have all of the answers?

or....will they come up with an entirely new and revised interpretation of their scripture?

Hi Skippy: The time for liftoff is 6 pm on Saturday. If I look out the window and see a bunch of Christians in the air, it will be a huge surprise, because to me religion, science fiction and wishful thinking are all one and the same. If believing in God keeps people from running wild in the streets while they're on earth, and gives them something to hope for when they die, then they are lucky they can believe in it.

How many of us would miss these folks anyway? I'm still - just leave the money and stuff behind.

Did that guy mentioned where it happens? Is it a special time zone in the US or MEZ? The international date line has already passed the time yet. If it is MEZ than I have to hurry to get ready for the trip.

Oh my, and there are people who believe all that stuff.

Apparently a fair number of Christians do believe it for what must be good reason to them. I have heard about the second coming of Christ and the Rapture for most of the years that I was a Christian. I finally gave up on the wait and converted to what is a better religion for me.
