I'd like to find....

.. that woman who stole my silverware. Does anyone know where to find her? Here name is Marynette..... and I believe that she lives or has lived in the Lawrenceville, Georgia area.

Do you, or does anyone in your circle know how/where to find her? I'd really like to get my silverware back......

Thanx.....

Ackman, This is going to take a full scale investigation! You must provide us with full details. When did this crime take place? How did the aforementioned Marynette have access to your silverware? Have you had the premises dusted for fingerprints? Can you give us a full description of the missing silver? Why do you suspect this is the person who stole your silverware? Can you give us a complete description of the suspected thief? Where did you meet her? How long had you known her? Why do you think she lives near Lawrenceville, Ga.? You may have better results if you take some of us with you to Georgia to look for her. In fact, there are a couple of us who would volunteer to do a stake out with you. Let's solve this crime for the ACK MAN!!!

WOW!!! I am blown away by how many of you have looked at and commented on this blog submittal.....

The subject is real.... This woman was a "girlfriend" of mine for a number of years in the late 1980s. I put my silverware in her's and her mother's possession... for her mother to keep in her safe-deposit box, in Timonium, outside of Baltimore. Upon our breakup, her mother returned the silver to her, expecting she would return it to me..... Never happened.... and the G/F disappeared....

Now, I'd really like to ask her to return it to me.... as I'd like to have it... after all, it IS mine.. The box, incidentally, was custom-made by the Gerstner people, in Ohio. It is a simple teak box... no ornamentation.

I submitted this blog sort of on a "lark"... thinking that, just maybe, someone would see it and know (of) her and say to her, "Hey, Sister, it's not cool to steal someone's "stuff".... what say you get in touch with him and arrange to return it?"

The greater likelihood is that she pawned, or otherwise exchanged it for some $$$. .... and I will never (ever) get to see it again....

OK... I'll put up a reward.... $20 to anyone who can direct me to the thief....

P.S. I got replacement silverware in 08/04.... at a cost of $1680. That included a box.... but nothing as nice as the teak box that was stolen....

hopeu: I agree that it's silly... but I DO hope that - on a long-shot - someine will direct me to this thievin' woman and I can get a lead on asking her to return my goods to me...

Tell me, honestly, would you feel "OK" if you stole a set of silverwear that you KNEW were precious to someone who trusted YOU with their well-being????

True heart: This was a woman who I learned was capable of theft...
There is no question that she knew whose silver it was... whose box it was..... and that - when her Mother returned it to her - she expected that it would be forwarded along to me. I spoke to her Mom a few years ago, about this.....
