69 hotdogs gone in 10 minutes.....OMG !!!
What’s more American than competing in a hot eating contest on the Fourth of July?
To over 40,000 people on Coney Island this afternoon, nothing.

On the corner of Surf and Stillwell Avenues, they witnessed Joey Chestnut of San Jose, Calif. inhale a record 69 hot dogs in 10 minutes, which won him his seventh straight Nathan’s Famous Hot Eating Contest championship.


On the women’s side, Sonya Thomas, who weighs only 100 lbs. and is known as the “Black Widow” of competitive eating, downed almost 37 franks for the win.

Elaine,it was a great accomplishment,i think he has "a never ending stomach".,
I also love number 69,I will have it in 3 years,lol,right now I'm 66
