ask friends locally who are also in business listen with care and a pinch of salt local knowlege is vital , advertising can be the biggest drain on the business many small businesses waste advertising budget on the wrong advertising , log every lead and go back frequently to check whats working and dump whats not make sure every contact has your card , pin them on any notice boards , volunteer your technical help for a couple of local good causes where you get to meet people good luck with it all
