Safe Space

My cat seems to have become one of Maisie's "spoiled brats." He demands a safe space. He has had it for some time but I never really considered the implication. He started retreating there when my grandchildren started visiting. They "love" him but the feeling is not mutual even though we all lived together for about 5 years. He now retreats to his safe space whenever there is anything strange, noisy or different.

His space is really safe. It's way back in the "no woman's land" of electronic gadgets.

I've found that most pets have a safe space they can retreat to when it gets TOO BUSY for them. Nice looking cat you have.

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Aww Sweet Cat- Great Place To Hide lol
As you probably know cats are good at finding hiding places. They also have this thing where if they can't see you they think you can't see them.

He is a Ragdoll. My daughter got him for me from a rescue about 10 or 11 years ago. He is somewhere between 13 and 15 now and is pretty much a lazy old man.

Sorry Spirit but "no woman's land" of electronic gadgets is not accurate for all women. I happen to love electronic gadgets and my bedroom is flooded with a ton of electronics. Cute cat but he is very close to many wires that can be a major headache if he accidentally unplugs some of them.

Can't wait to see them. Ragdolls are the most affection cats. Like yours mne sits in my lap any time I sit down. He also does "snuggies" (one foot on each side of my face, snuggles in and purrs. He also sleeps snuggled next to me when it it not too hot.

I have several "gadgets: myself, just minus all of the cords. I guess he could disrupt things if he unplugged anything but so far so good.
