View From the Back Door
A long day but we finally made it out to our destination on Cape Cod around 3AM. Large but crazy old Harry Potter style house with all sorts of attic rooms and windy hall ways.

This is the view from the back door. Lots of trees and a salt marsh in the back.

The house is amazing. A unique combination of colonial new England and modern conveniences. The family we are renting it from have had it in the family for over 200 years.

I am told that new England is very much like your part of the world. We have had amazing weather. 3 consecutive days of sunshine. The locals have been able to enjoy the beach.

 We are hoping for a few special days. Not many of these kinds of family gatherings for life events since we are "between generations". The CA branch looks for reasons to party but the east coast branch is more sedate.
