A Magical Summer Solstice
As I posted in my last blog I spent Summer Solstice in one of them the places where I feel most at one with all of creation. This photo captured me at the creek communing with nature. I did notice figure across from me looking back. Photo experts can no doubt explain it by the sunlight, water, granite, reflections and shadows but is still really cool - nature responding.

 Yes, I guess that at some time we all love to commune with nature. I know we do. I like this picture, it says so much about you.

It does - and as usual totally unplanned. Chuck is always taking pictures of me when I am not looking. This time in particular because I was in a bathing suit. I figure no need to traumatize small children with a picture of that!

 The entire area is one of the most peaceful places, at least for me, that I know of. It is a bit farther and we have to "share" but there isn't any water on our lake property again this year due to the drought.

Yes, I was fortunate that the kid's annual family camping trip and summer solstice coincided. A couple of years ago it coincided with the super moon at our lake property. Predestination or coincidence or simply being regulated by the school year matters not. It worked out and that is what counts.

No matter what the justifications these are magical moments for us and since the interpretation of what we see or hear is a personal thing. As long as WE know and understand it maters not what others do.

Sending good thoughts to you and Joe. Tell him he is in our thoughts now and was during my meditations in my special place. Your sign, like mine reassures us that we are "on track" so to speak and that no matter what the outcomes everything is as it should be. Our job is to make the most of it.

The entire high Sierra is a very beautiful calming place. Of course you have to leave some of the creature comforts behind to appreciate it but like you that is not an issue for me. The rewards are worth it.
