On The Road Again The car is packed and we're ready to head to the High Sierra for a few days with family. It's always a bitter sweet trip when we go to the places that were part of my husbands childhood and roots and where where we will return to the elements. The timing was determined by my 's schedule which revolves around the school year. However it's perfect since I will be in one of the most naturally beautiful places for Summer Solstice. I'm looking forward to spending a few days with family away from the distractions of artificial things, fulfilling my role as elder and teaching the grandchildren the old ways and how to appreciate and connect with the natural world around them. Not sure when I will post again there is no internet or phone service other than at the little country market near by. Spiritwoman ^i^ |
