What Do You Call Him? Maybe someone can answer a question someone brought up in a recent discussion. When a married man has a lover other than his wife she is called a mistress. Lover is a good gender neutral marital status neutral word but as you pointed out they still use mistress as it is the name of a new TV series (actually not new as it has been on in the UK for 3 years) called mistresses. We really do need a new word. Spiritwoman ^i^

I like "Her Stud". It would be fun (bad kid is out again) to introduce male companion as "my stud. As I was writing this I just realized that the word stud is almost the same as std. Wonder if that was done on purpose. Yup, bad kid is out and frolicking over this one. Spiritwoman ^i^
