Diamonds and Stones Some days are diamonds some days are stones Sometimes the hard times won't leave me alone Sometimes a cold wind blows a chill in my bones Some days are diamonds some days are stones. John Denver I always liked this song but hadn’t thought about it in a long time. I was listening to a You Tube video today and it came up. I just completed my semiannual medical stuff and find the song truer than ever. The diamonds? All of my internal and life sustaining systems work perfectly. The stones? No one told my joints or neurological system this. Most of us have diamond and stone days at this stage in our lives. The diamond days are those when we wake up with energy and relatively pain free. The stone days? No energy and all sorts of aches and pains. Not much we can do about it except take it easy on our body when we can but somehow the stone days are usually when the demands are the greatest. We can, however, make the most of the diamond days by living in the moment and enjoying them. Spiritwoman ^i^ |

Hi Spirit: Love the diamonds, hate the stones, but considering what millions of other people around the world are facing, even giant boulders and jagged rocks don't seem all that bad.
