Underwear Evolution

Not where I fit into the picture - anywhere between 1950 and present depending on how I feel on any given day.

The Challenge is fitting into the 2006 bloomers without looking silly.

Reminds me of a country song many years ago, "When we were down to nothing, nothing sure looked good on you!!!

Well at least nowadays you can see the goods before you sample them!

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

I don't think I will even try that 2006 model. It would be like trying to put two bowling balls into a marble sack.
Good one. Many of us ladies would have to move around the sag to find them on us.

Maybe - Gravity is not kind to women as we "mature" so with the 2006 model you might have to search for the goods.

the ones that are not visible, i.e., the "commando" style, seem to never go out of style!....

I think the men's evolution is pretty equal style wise but most of the en I know (and have known) wear the same kind my dad did or the kind they wore as children. Maybe guys just aren't as style conscious as women.

Now that you mentioned it the time line ends too soon. The loose lacy ones that are a bit like shorts are around too.

Only sure way to eliminate show through and panty lines. I have never been able to figure out why it's called commando though.

You mean you'd still be interested if I showed up wearing the 18th century bloomers?

I remember my Mom's work undies. She never changed styles either - and you are right, they are comfortable. I have some for when I am doing lots of work outside or going to the gym.
