Finally I'm Revealing MyPolitical Affiliation Democrlican or Republicrat? Seems everyone has a political label – Republican or Democrat, Liberal or Conservative. I’m confused. I can’t figure out which I am. Some of my views are liberal, some conservative. Some are Republican, some Democratic. Truth is that neither side would be willing to claim me because I differ on some of their issues. Even on the the current hot potato, gun control, my position is "yes, but" and "no, maybe". I was doing some out of character Suzzy Homemaker time in the kitchen today. As it does when I am engaged in routine tasks my mind wandered. I came up with 2 definitions to explain my position. I am either a Democralican or a Republicrat, either a liberalservative or conserveral. I still can’t decide which is more apropos. Some might see this as “fence sitting”. Not really. I just jump the fence and graze in multiple pastures. This way I don’t have to have a group who disagrees with me and one who agrees. At some time everyone will both agree and disagree. Balance? Hopefully. Multiple Personality Disorder? Possibly. Thinking and deciding for myself? Most likely. Spiritwoman ^i^ |

I always considered myself a duo. I think lots of people are. It usually manifests itself as being politically/economically one thing and socially another. I like your terminology. Spiritwoman ^i^

Love the Rat and Pelican labels. If I had to be one I guess I'd rather be a pelican. Ever seen one of those guys dive down after a fish? Better not be in their way. If Pelicans ran the country we definitely would get things done. As for rats - you brought to mind a problem we had a few years ago with a rat invasion. Had to declare all out war. I think I will post the story about this one and your comment here gives me a good lead in. Thanks. Definitely voting for the Pelicans next time. Spiritwoman ^i^
