Foto Friday - My Favorite Foto

I have boxes and computer files of pictures but my favorite is this one I took with my cell phone. 2 years ago I was visiting my 90 year old mother. I was out with her on her daily walk and hoped to catch some foliage photos to send a friend.

I posted this before on a Foto Friday about seasons. I just love the symbolism. My mother walking down a road in the fall of her life surrounded by fall foliage.

I will be heading back to see her again in a few days. I doubt that we will be doing much walking this time though. Her health has declined significantly and they already have snow.

I too recall this picture when it was posted before. Very symbolic and a nice shot.

I love this picture! Have you thought about enlarging it and framing it?

Yes bur unfortunately I do not think it will enlarge well. I have given a copy to all of the grand children though to have as a final page in the albums of family photos my mother did for each of them when they got married.

thank you. it was one of those rare captures that you experienced photographer see frequently. I wish I were better at seeing these things.
