The fact remains, however, that but for slavery very few if any Black Americans that live today would have ever been born. The historical birth rates in America and Africa have been so far apart that it just would have been mathematically impossible to have produced the populations of blacks in Africa that has been produced in America.

Economically there is no population of blacks anywhere in the world the size of the black population in America that is as wealthy as black Americans. Another simple fact.

Now somewhere in all this offense, these people feel about a pair of shoes there should be some gratitude that regardless of the circumstances of how they became Americans they are in fact Americans.

Frankly, they should celebrate the lives of their slave ancestors for allowing them the lives they have today.

I think this is all part of HISTORY, slavery, and their fight for freedom. We need to put this in perspective, move on and even though it is part of history why is it still a defining fact, which continues to grow and divide our Nation?

America is not perfect, nor any other country. Each country has made its share of mistakes. We need to accept, the facts, remember these incidents, so as not to be repeated again and move on, so we can unite as one NATION. Just my thoughts on the subject.
